I think the locals are equally to be blamed. I can't image this happening to Baltit or Altit fort, the locals will do everything in power to protect their heritage sites. Sad to see the same not happening in the rest of Pakistan.

He is right to the some extent but on other hand, we the people are too part of this condition. Actually, we ourselves wouldn't do much but will expect everything from authority that on other hand, we call corrupt. However, the overall prospective of comment which somehow reflects the reality "a sad state of affairs".

Still, i do feel that locals may have done something but we have government departments made and paid for this exact job. They need to stand up to the task as well.
