50 is the number of states forever. 51 won't be a good number for the number of states. It's not round number and easy to say and US flag won't look good with 51 stars.

I am not sure if they are Chinese style superstetious when it comes to numbers...It all depends on national interest...Puerto Rico isnt rich THAT alone wont make them a state

If you think about it the OP is asking a real stupid question. It's like he is bored on Sunday and he thought "hey this kind of sounds interesting". Crimea was part of Russia and over 65% of Crimea is ethnic Russians. That about explains why Crimea was tilted toward Russia.

What I want to know is, has he even stepped foot in Russia? All these Kremlin fanboi's sitting in the west with little or no exposure to how to Russian propaganda machine works. Also I find his general disdain for the western world interesting to say the least, if you don't like it here, no one is holding you back .

Annexation is forced take over. The people of Crimea willingly joined Russia because they were already ethnic Russian because Crimea had been part of Russia for centuries.

Who are YOU or anyone else to consider that annexation? Crimeans are happy as Russian citizens. Hell, all the former Ukraine soldiers in Crimea joined Russia army since day 1.
