Because Islam is not native to either countries.

When you get to another person's house, you are a guest there.

As a guest, it is polite to abide by the norms of that house.

It is called courtesy.

The same goes for Islam.

It is a native of Saudi Arabia and is alien to the Eastern part of the world.

While there are other countries which have accepted Islam and replaced their own identity with it, we prefer to keep local culture alive.

I would ask our Chinese members here to clearly state this better for their country.

In China, they have a clear distinction between the patriotic Hui muslims and the jihadi type others.

Whilst Islam has not been in Bharat for as long as the Vedic and Puranic religions however Islam has been in Bharat for over 1000 years, that might not be long enough for you but more importantly most followers of Islam in Bharat are native, they just converted and those who were foreign married into the local population.

Constitutions gives rights to everyone to follow their religion freely and independently. But if you misuse the rights given to you by the law, it will take its own course.

Supreme Court is not against Sheria Law but it is against misuse of Triple Talaq against women. Hindus are also protesting against Supreme Court of India's order of 28 September 2018 wherein, the Supreme Court struck down Rule 3(b) of the Kerala Hindu Places of Public Worship (Authorisation of Entry) Rules of 1965 in a 4:1 verdict, paving the way for all women, irrespective of age, to enter the Sabarimala temple.

We live in a Peoples elected Secular Democracy not in Religious state.

Nothing will happen. Laws will be made. Laws were made against superstition as well. I still see Hinduism being practiced widely.

Islam has been part of China for well over a 1,000 years it is as native as it is going to get. Arabs are a minority in Islam and more importantly not necessarily the best proponents of the religion. Islam is for social equality so as such would have been fine with communist party rule but where it differs greatly is in deification of state!
State is not God! So, go run with it. Now, India on one side claiming secularism and democracy and on the other meddling in faith of others. Why don't you tell Catholics that they are disconnected from pope because it impinges upon indian sovereignty?
At the end of the day both these countries will change again as they have done in over a thousand years and fundamentals of Islam will remain the same... because at the end of the day a Muslim is who adheres to Islam not whoever comes along with head in a jar.

Why doesn't many Muslim countries not allow citizenship in their country. Can a Non-muslim man marry an Arab women. Can a Hindu marry a Muslim women.

Indians allowed & embraced every outsider, but it's only Muslims who fail to accept they imposed their religion & did atrocities to the innocent believers of the sub-continent. At-least other invaders like the British, French have acknowledged their wrongs & even absorbed our community in to theirs as reconciliation. We can marry a British, French, American & also get citizenship. Almost all Muslim of the sub-continent won't even dare to propose an Arab or marrying one leave alone asking for equal rights, but they won't have any problem proposing or marrying any other nationality or religion in Non-Islamic countries & shouting for equal rights & religious freedom.

This is the reason Muslims have a problem world wide. So we Indians don't have to change our beliefs or practices, it's the invading believer who need to accept the culture of the land & change.

We have already had one partition because we were tolerant, innocent & sacrificing. Now it’s your time to do that. We are not going to put up with other’s selfish designs. Hope you know what will happen to Muslims, If they ask for one more partition, there won’t be any more Muslims in India. This is the view of not only Hindus, it’s the view of Buddhists, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jews, atheists & all Non-Muslims I know. It's the same across the world. But this one way traffic is changing now, where Muslims want other women but can’t allow their girls to be married into others neither they give them basic rights. If that is culture you will one day see all others will unite together to stop this dadagiri.

It’s the muslims who need to adapt the modern values & culture of the land where ever they go & not the other way. The culture what you claim is not yours & nobody wants it anywhere, unless you accept the culture of the land. You can see what's happening in Iran & Shariah. At least ask question relevant to my post... not existential questions personal to your life. If you are concerned that much why not pick up Qur'an and understand it's narrative. That is also where you can understand attributes of the creator and reason for creation. Mind you Muslims do not believe in santa claus!

No religion is above the law of the land. If people of any religion have a problem with that, they can approach Supreme Court and get relief if their demand is just.
Everyone has to follow the law and constitution. Uniform Civil Code.
you cant just divorce ur wife by uttering 3 words on sending on SMS, u file for divorce in Court. U cant take oath in the name of any holy book whether bible, Koran/Quran, Bhagwat Gita or Guru Granth Sahib, u take oath by the constitution.
