Behind the CeaseFireLine (CFL) ......

Guys.
My sincerest advice is to make a separate thread for the analysis and make the thread one for people to read only. Only people with sane minds can contribute by invitation only. That way we will have a good analytical basis for knowledge which an be used to understand the dynamics of the Indo Pak conflicts in the past, present and perhaps the future though none of us want to see one.
Kindest regards

India - Pakistan conflict analysis - aims, tactics, strategy, results

You might find just what the doctor ordered.

Events occurring in Indian occupied J&K during the past few weeks are indicative of a deep and pervasive change in the ground realities in that occupied state. After revoking the special status of the state given to it in the Indian national constitution (even though that special status was a farce and deception based on a pack of blatant lies), Indian Hindu fascists ruling the country under a globally disgraced murderer Modi thought the game was over for the people of the occupied state and for Pakistan too. The act of revocation was not a sudden move on part of the Hindu fascists run Indian government. It was a rather well thought out strategy (a short sighted one though) based on one crucial assumption.

The Indian military and ruling gang of Hindu fascists have always believed in a harsh military response to Pakistan for any major incident in the occupied state of J&K by calling it an act of terrorism and blaming it on Pakistan. Confident of their overwhelming numerical superiority in terms of economy, foreign reserves, military weapon systems, and personnel, Indians believe that Pakistan will not be able to face a sustained Indian military campaign. To set new narrative based on that belief, Modi sent his planes to launch an airborne attack on Balakot in KPK (i.e. in proper Pakistan territory and not the disputed land of pre-1947 state of the J&K). This was a clearly naked aggression contrary to international law and norms. Indians justified their aggression by calling it an attack on terrorists (i.e. non-state actors) who were blamed by Modi government for the killing of 40 or so Indian soldiers in a roadside attack launched by a young Kashmiri suicide bomber. In a typical Indian euphoria, Indians then started claiming to have set a new military/geostrategic norm of hitting Pakistan for any attack launched by the Kashmiri freedom fighters.

This all was apparently done to set a stage for revoking the special status of the occupied state of J&K and, prior to that, pushing Pakistan into defensive or even submissive to Indian aggression. And it seems that all that was being persued with a collusion of some global powers. Had Pakistan not given a bloody-nose response to that Indian aggression the very next day morning, Indians would have resorted to repeated more aggressive acts against Pakistan for every post revocation loss to freedom fighters in the state of J&K. But Pakistanis indeed humiliated Indians when they responded to Indian aggression in the broad daylight, dominated the skies on the occupied state, and shot down at least two Indian fighter planes. Modi resorted to threatening to target several Pak cities with surface to surface missiles but was forced to retract by a counter threat for a devastating Pak response. Indian attempt to set a new norm was thus brutally smashed by Pakistan then and there.

Modi-led Indian fascist government, however, kept moving ahead on their original plan of creating a pure Hindu country by not only revoking the special status of occupied state of J&K but also changing the citizenship-related laws thus effectively declaring all Indian minorities, especially so the Muslims, non-Indian citizens. Fascist Indian Hindu leaders openly claimed in their interviews with foreign media that talking about human rights is valid only among the equals, thus, implying that the members of Indian minorities are not equal to ones belonging to Hindu majority. The civilized world was, for the first time, shocked by seeing the real ugly face of the largest democracy of the world. Pakistanis, however, were not surprised at all. We knew Hindu reality and psyche for centuries.
Modi government's actions (including locking down the whole population of 8 million Kashmiri people) and attempts of changing the demographics in the occupied state made it abundantly clear to the people of occupied J&K of their bleak future. They were already struggling and fighting against illegal Indian occupation, that is continuing in clear violation of UN resolutions about the Kashmir dispute, but this time the deep alienation and hatred towards Indian occupation forces reached to almost 100%. The Kashmiri youth overwhelmingly jumped into the freedom movement. And the new ground realities are manifesting into the frequent gun fights in the occupied land.

In the original Modi's plans, all this was supposed to be tackled by attacking and bleeding Pakistan not only at the LoC but also on our Western border. But Modi's military is already getting a severe beating in the hands of Pak military at the LoC and the Indian terrorist wing (i.e. RAW) is getting devastating blows in the Afghan lands too. Not much choice is left for Modi and his gang of terrorists except a large scale active confrontation with Pakistan in a hope that numerical Indian superiority would bring a face saving solution to Modi’s deep troubles.

However, the situation in the occupied state of J&K seems to be moving towards a stage (as witnessed in late 90's) when freedom fighters would be chasing Indian occupation forces to their barracks, military headquarters, and garrisons. Pakistan needs to actively support the freedom movement to save the endangered humanity in the Indian occupied J&K. We need to make sure that Indian military becomes incapable of mobility in the occupied lands. The tide has already started turning. Fascist Modi does not have many choices. He has entered a deadly hole. Don't let him get out of that stranglehold. The ray of light and hope is finally visible to the oppressed people of occupied J&K at the end of a long and dark tunnel. Just smash the head of this poisonous snake - a war criminal and the enemy of humanity.
The recent aggressive Indian policies should not be construed as merely the outbursts from a fascist mindset of ruling Hindu terrorists of RSS/BJP currently ruling that country. One can easily find a consistent and continuous pattern of aggressive postures as demonstrated by successive Indian governments since early fifties. The real difference between the ruling class then and now is of the adopted strategies to achieve essentially the same goal of creating Akhand Bharat (or Greater India). Right after getting independence in 1947, Indian leaders, starting with Nehru, started suffering from a self-deceptive belief of being the regional leaders and expected the regional countries, including Mao's China, to toe the line set by Indian leadership. They started with forcibly annexing scores of autonomous states that existed under the British rule. Once, done with that without much difficulty, Indian leaders started looking around at the regional countries as their immediate sphere of influence. The Sino-Indian military skirmish of 1962, in fact, was a direct consequence of Indian bellicose. After suffering from utter humiliation at the hands of Chinses military, Indian leaders decided to first focus on smaller neighboring countries by asking them to fall in line. Any hesitation in following the Indian line would bring the wrath of Indian leaders who used all means, including terrorism, to punish the disobeying states. One of the first target countries facing the Indian wrath was, of course, Pakistan. In the first place, Indian leaders agreed to the proposal of creation of Pakistan only after being confident that the new country would collapse soon after only to request a re-merger with mother India. The first successful milestone on their way to Akhand Bharat was turning the erstwhile East Pakistan into a separate country, i.e. Bangladesh, through an effective use of a terrorist group called Mukti Bahini in 1970-71.

Soon after, Indians created another terrorist outfit, the LTTE, in Sri Lanka with a goal of carving out another small Hindu majority state out of Sri Lanka. It should be noted it was in fact Indian RAW that introduced suicide bombing in this region. The Indian RAW trained the terrorists of LTTE in planning and conducting such deadly attacks on Sri Lankan leadership and commoners at public places. As a matter of fact, Indians are the pioneers in introducing many other bad things at the regional stage. For example, they introduced atomic weapons by exploding a nuke device in 1974 after cheating, deceiving, and stealing nuclear material from civilian nuclear reactors supplied by Canada under friendship treaty of peaceful use of nuclear technology. Even more disgusting was the code name of a mass murdering atomic device as Smiling Buddha, a disgrace that only cunning Indian Hindu leaders can bring upon themselves. Similarly Indians introduced the missile technology in the Indian sub-continent. Faced with existential overt and covert Indian threats, Pakistan had no other choice but to follow the suit as a matter of compulsion.

After much devastation and bloodshed, Sri Lanka was able, with valuable assistance from Pakistan and China, to defeat the Indian terrorism by crushing Indian terrorist arm, the LTTE, in their country. The destabilizing rogue Indian policies didn't stop there. After the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan, Indians played a dirty spoiler’s role by supplying arms and ammunition to different Afghan factions with the sole goal of keeping the Afghan civil war, destruction, and bloodshed continued because that suited very well to Indian strategic interests. Such cold blooded and evil policies are later reflected by massive Indian support to many anti-Pakistan terrorist groups such as the TTP, BLA, and an assortment of other groups created by them to carry out terrorist attacks in Pakistan. Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh have been treated by Indians no differently either. Arm twisting, diplomatic and economic coercing, use of terrorism, and other blackmailing tactics are the hallmark of Indian policy towards its neighboring countries since 1947. India has proved itself as a negative and destabilizing factor for the region since its independence from Britain. It is a curse that every and all regional countries are equally facing.

Having a shallow personally, a criminal mentality, and a disgraceful past (infamously know as Butcher of Gujrat), the only qualification of Modi for rising to the position of Indian chief executive was his extremist policies and deep hate against Muslims. His rise to the power reflects the overall narrow and prejudice mentality of Indian Hindu voters and their support for his criminal policies against other Indian minorities. His rise to the power is analogous to that of Hitler. The fanatic extremists of the Hindu RSS/BJP are deeply impressed by Nazi policies. The only difference is that the target of their policies are Muslims rather than Jewish people. However, with the rise of extremist Hindu cadre in the country, Indian policies came out in the exposure only to shock the civilized world.

A poverty-stricken country having a diverse set of communities and cultures, like India, can least afford internal strife especially if numerous insurgencies are already running throughout the country. But the new Hindu extremist leaders of India deeply believed in crushing any and all opposition by exploiting the power of Hinduism and the charm of Akhand Bharat slogan. The apparent success of domestic policies of Modi government encouraged the his extremist government to focus on the external front more vigorously yet once more. India started broadcasting the weather reports of Gilgit-Baltistan region (even though that achieves nothing - BBC and Aljazeera broadcast such reports for dozens of world cities), Indians ministers and military commanders started issuing statements against Pakistan threatening a military action to retrieve Gilgit-Baltistan region from Pakistan's 'occupation'. While unilaterally and illegally annexing the occupied J&K into India union (by revoking article 370 of Indian constitution) and claiming the Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan region, Indians conveniently discarded the UN related part (i.e UN resolutions on the dispute of J&K) of the dispute while keeping its status as disputed that must be resolved to Indian satisfaction (i.e. vacated by Pakistan and China). More than that, as another malicious dimension, Indian leaders openly started supporting terrorism in Pakistan's Balochistan province - same approach that was followed in East Pakistan (Mukti Bahini) and Sri Lanka (LTTE). Since the goal was to snap the Karakorum Highway (thus sabotaging the CPEC project), many observers believe that Indians had covert support from many world powers.

As Indians started mobilizing their military assets, Pakistan and China sensed the rising threat. Both countries quickly started spinning in action to counter Indian blackmailing and imminent aggression. Chinese have pre-empted Indian moves of annexing disputed territory of Southern Tibet by engaging India military at the LAC. After getting a blank refusal of any open support from their secret Western allies, Indians are now requesting for a negotiated peaceful solution of the stand-off at the LAC. What these silly Hindu fanatics of India are conveniently forgetting is that the standoff, in the first place, is a direct result of their utterly insane and aggressive actions in clear violation of international laws. Disputed territories cannot be unilaterally annexed with impunity and without grave repercussions. Unless Modi and his gang of Hindu terrorists not only return the previous status of Indian occupied J&K (Ladakh is a part of the occupied state) but also start a serious process of giving the right of self-determination to the people of occupied state as promised to them by Nehru's India, UN, and the world decades ago. A prolonged delay and refusal to their right of self-determination does not really nullify their promised right. How else Chinese can trust Modi and his fascist gang and vacate their positions only to allow Indians later pose a more serious threat to the CPEC project. Or else, Modi's India is up for utter humiliation in front of the whole world. Their requests for negotiations carry not even an iota of credibility. I am sure Indians will end up getting a hundred proverbial hits (with Chinese shoes) in their heads and eat a hundred pieces of onions too.

You have summed it up the issue very nicely. Its PAYBACK time for the MODI gang, his atrocities, threats and provocations have not gone unnoticed.

A beautiful write up - thank you.

I will make only two comments:

1). The starting point of Hindu "Bharat Mata" mind-set, and creating Akhand-Bharat, was not with Nehru....It started with Gandhi. Many people don't realise what a KATTAR Hindu was he and how deeply he hated muslims. Quaid-i-Azam, on hearing the news of death of Gandhi, said only one sentence "A great Hindu leader".

2).There is no chance of Modi and co to return to the phase that existed prior to the abrogation of articles 370 and 35A. He and Amit Shah will be killed by their own mob. This extremist and mob mentality is not just dangerous to others, it can also set its own house on fire.

@Mangus Ortus Novem

A few developments have occurred since the time you started this thread.

CFL was made hot by India since attacks from inside Afghanistan on Pakistan had declined. However, Ladakh is an area which has parts claimed by India, Pakistan and also China. Since China has come in the picture, two more nations can be seen in the equation also - Nepal and Bhutan. On the other hand, since China has come in picture, the case of independent Tibet will be highlighted, since Tibet area gives access to China to reach India.

The Indian forces in Leh are considered as immediate back up and reinforcements for Indian Army at Srinagar and Jammu. This is why engaging Indian forces in this region is important which cannot be done directly by Pakistan. This is where China comes in, as China and India locks horns in the area of Ladakh, it doesnt stop here, Chinese showed presence in Sikkim area too. So India has managed to create unrest on other parts of its borders too. Nepal has made few deals with China a few years ago, while China will look to access from Nepal to reach Siliguri area of "Chicken neck" in the eastern sector.

So to sum it up, following new prospects have been opened militarily through China -India border skirmish:
1. Ladakh area
2. Sikkim area
3. Possible chinese access to Siliguri through Nepal
and this all started after exchange of constant fire on CFL between Pakistan and India. This shows that Indian border problems tripled.

Coming to Nepal side of story, The Kalapani territory is a disputed area between India and Nepal, which gives access to Tibet area too. Nepal has a small standing army of 7-8 Infantry Divisions. If China starts reinforcing Nepal by building roads and rails into Nepal, especially to reach Siliguri, then Nepal might ask for Chinese assistance to settle the issue of disputed kalapani area with India. The sentiments of Nepalese have become anti-indian and Nepal may look towards China in future for assistance instead of India.

Bhutan is another country which sits Adjacent to Nepal, its 3 times smaller than nepal and Bhutanese Military is assisted by India, especially the Air component. This is where China has to ingress and get Bhutan away from the Indian Sphere of influence with much more lucrative deals, just like it did with Nepal.

To counter China, India now could raise Tibet issue in Washington so that China will have to back off from Sikkim, Nepal etc. India was better off just engaging Pakistan on CFL, but now India has soured its enmity with three different countries (Pakistan-China-Nepal), all having different religions and background. One has to see how things unfold - whether India under Modi has done the correct thing through playing fire with article 370, whether USA will provide cover to India since China has stepped in and whether Nepal will further tilt towards China or come back towards India.

Kashmir terrain now has three active armies standing on its disputed lands.

Already happening. US House Rep Scott Perry a bill (H.R 6948) that would 'authorize the Pres to recognize the Tibet Autonomous Region of the PRC as a separate independent country and for other purposes."

Seems like a last resort. This could have serious complications from henceforth.

PakBrothers mine,

The TrenchWarfare of the CeaseFireLine ... is the longest in History... though nothing has changed for better for either side... other than making it very expensive for the good Indians to keep occupying IoJK..

We have lost more PakCivilians due the valiant Indians trageting them intentionally... even using the PakKashmiris in IoJK as HumanShileds for their artilery...

Both @Signalian and @PanzerKiel have been tremendously educational by providing Rational picture of the geography and 'system' deployed... this helps in understanding many things... not only related to military advance. Both opportunities and handicaps...

Our Tweeting, pressers, statements and speeches have ZERO effect
....

Simply, because the illegal, paper annexation, in violation of UN Resolutions, was sanctioned act by the US led CombinedWest .... to rope in ModiRegime in the China Containment Architecture!

The US led DollarSystemEmpire is fighting for its Dominance/Perservation ...and India has offered to become The Front Line State against China ...in exchange for a seat at the High Table.... hence, the ego-pumping by the CombinedWest of the person who was not allowed to step foot on the Western soil being responsible for an organised Progrom!

HongKong got/gets more attention from the CombinedWest than the biggest and incarcination of an entire populaiton in HumanHistory ...PakKashmiris in IoJK!

Strategic Interests never left the neighbourhood of OurLand or IoJK....from 40s till today...same ..same... one Actor of History...always present!

China. China. China. BRI. BRI. BRI. CPEC.

Had to sleep on the motivations of China for moving in such swift and organised manner....clearly, they had practiced/exercised this before hand.... the burning Question was Why?

One found it difficult to accept that it was done for Pakistan's benefit.... China doesn't do such things ...never overtly/miltarily... only behind the scenes and diplomatically....

FourFingers are now ChineseFingers ... Four more Fingers to go...

What requires a deeper analysis is the PLA activism in Sikkim as well...and then there is SouthTibet...

Aussies are now IndiaPhraandz too.... Samosacracy as symbolismo!

IndoPacific is now a FACT with Quad...and the invitation to G7 is an offer India cann't refuse... without China!

Anyhow China has G20 and G30 in the making...

ASEAN will have to become a tounge living among teeth.

Now why is it so important...and how does it links to IoJK/Ladakh?

Ladakh is the Gateway for XinJiang and Tibet
... same route that the Mongol hordes used to sack Kashmir back then... and came down to visit all the way upto Multan... and of course.... down South to Gujarat via Sindh!!!

The same route is also the reverse for ingress into the both areas of China ...where the CombinedWest has long tried to bestow BleedingHeart Humanity for the peoples there.... but never for PakKashmiris!!!

Lasha-Islamabad Railyways?

By delaring Ladakh a UnionTerritory in a paper exercise... the ModiRegime also issued new maps showing Aski Chin as Indian.... the border with China solved via a paper exercise...

Just as with UN Resolutions...the good Indians have also thrown out of the window all agreements and understandings with the Chinese... implying that the India is now a Global Power.... and this what global powrs do...

The PLA digging in on FourthFinger and other areas in Ladakh is creating facts on the ground... and nulifying the paper exercise that the Indians conducted with great fanfare.

The Deafening Silence of the ModiRegime and Mr. Trump's Tweet about 'Raging border conflict' ...mediation offer... 25 min phonecall between Modi and Trump... Indian DM talking to his American counterpart....

From there is NO Incursion..all is well..undercontroll...to 'China stabbed us in the Back' ...narrative...

Tomorrow the top Sino-Indian commanders will meet... most likely a dead end.

Simply, because without having something subtantial in return the PLA withdrawl would mean 'Victory' for India....

With the Summer of Discontent rising in America and now in Europe... Can we expect a summer of discontent in OurRegion?

Now, for all practical purposes, India is The Front Line State against China. It cann't withdraw now... too much invested by all parties into this...and all the levers are in the hands of the US e.g. OIC never being called for PakKashmiris is courtesy US to help out Modi... and now Modi's turn to deliver results!

What does it make Pakistan now?

In 1962 the PLA had to withdraw and it did.... it is now 2020... then Nehru had the full support of the US led CombinedWest... today Modi enjoys the same... Forward Policy never really died!!!

Behind the CeaseFireLine ... the Future of Asia is taking shape...and PakKashmiris are still cut off from the world....

Will this time PLA withdraw back?

The Stand-off of FlyingKicks?

Or something a little bit more animated with autmoated assisstence?

Gleaming, so far, of the IndianMedia and their DM's breaking of vows of silence ... perhaps, informs us that the good Indians want to engage in The Game of Chicken ... and wish that the Chinese blink first and move on...

Gleaming, so far, of the ChineseMedia .... unlike Doklam where pitch was uncharacteristically high of GT...this time its very nuanced, cautionary...leaving the door open for mending ways....

Unlike Doklam this time PLA has come with force and numbers....

The good Indians can claim all the Victory of Doklam they want...but they lost Bhutan!

The Chinese achieved their Strategic Object...by Doklam Distraction!!!

What do the Chinese want now?

Mangus
What do the Chinese want? In one line? For you to grow a pair.

Plus fix your judiciary, law enforcement, education, health, hang corrupt ba$tards like they do, and stop volatility in the stock market as well as PKR.

Until these issues are fixed, despite the potential, investors will be wary of investing their hard earned money. Not just foreigners, but expats like me are not double minded, but pretty sure, it would be suicidal.

As to IoK, if not today, tomorrow, or one day, it will be a two front war, and IoK will become Azad Kashmir IA.

One found it difficult to accept that it was done for Pakistan's benefit.... China doesn't do such things ...never overtly/miltarily... only behind the scenes and diplomatically....
In the region for securing and expanding CPEC. Globally, to challenge USA and get Europe on its side.

@Signalian interesting thoughts. I think one part that may need mention is that we are about to witness the West stepping in to help India like they did in 62. If that happens, the door closes for Pakistan to take back Kashmir. Ultimately, US and Europe will look to stabilize the Indian military enough to hold them back and to perhaps start insurgency in Tibet.

So, if Pak is to take action, the window of opportunity is about 12 months from today.

Means next year? Do you think Chinese Military will be maintaining pressure on LAC next year too?
The issue is will there be the same LAC once China fights and wins over the lands? It will all depend on where the Chinese will feel comfortable they would occupy. It is exactly like the Usraeli occupied teritories that are still in their control.
