PTI always wins the poll on this forum but it doesn't reflect the opinion in the general election

I had voted for PTI in 2013 but I don't plan to vote again

I am likely to not cast my vote as I will be abroad but even if I was in Pakistan, I am not sure if I have any choice in my mind at all

Those who don't vote indirectly help PMLN win since their core voters will always vote for them no matter what.
This poll clearly shows that a fairly large percentage of people don't vote at all.
The only way PMLN can be dethroned is for people who don't normally vote to go out and support PTI or whichever party is likely to come second. If enough swing voters vote PTI then we could finally allow a new party to take control and possibly change Pakistan's future.

As it stands PMLN will win again and maintain the status quo.

Voted for PTI and they came on the streets acting like goons, blocking the roads, hijacking the capital city and imposing undeclared state within state.

For me I don't have any party affiliation though I had been admirer of Imran Khan in past and still like him to certain extent but not sure if PTI will make a huge difference compared to other parties as I hardly see any significant change in their governing province.

.
That includes every politician.

On the other hand, what are people going to do if PMLN wins?[/QUOT
we will all have licence for corruption,if that happens, courts and nab should be closed

Can i ask if you have visited KPK recently?

you just keep on waiting for Gawala, a smart person will just go for formula milk then die of starvation waiting for Gawala.

Look who is talking about being "SMART" ? :D :D :D

I don't want GAWALA at least something near to GAWALA which I can't see anywhere as of today. I will suggest you to go and read Pakistan Economy section to understand what is going here if you have any know-how about economics. By economics, Dr Pasha book about provincial growth came in my mind which was released recently, go and read it you will know the part played by every province in GDP growth. Topped by KP, 2nd Punjab, 3rd Sindh and 4th Balochistan

Despite the pros and cons of PTI, at minimum PTI should be given a chance to lead the country, all other parties have been tried and tested with bitter disappointment.

.
I voted PTI. Should be given a chance at national level. But I wouldn't mind Shahbaz Sharif to form the central govt either--he seems to have done at least some good work in Punjab.

Worst would be PPP again forming a govt in Sindh--I will respect if they do IF votes are not rigged in Sindh--but I still prefer even Jamaat e Islami to rule Sindh. MQM, under M. Kamal, is my choice for urban Sindh.

this is same as saying BD growing 7% while US is meager 2.5% so DB a new super power, talk about economists here

IK disappointed all specially Punjab ,If his candidate got elected then people are bashoor if not they are fools ,This is counter productive also in the last 4.5 years he hasn't done any good work in KPK all his major points are taken out so PTI doesn't stand a chance ,PPP in Karachi will not get any votes and Interior Sindh the way Zardari is leading these days all NAtionalist will find easier to side with other Nationalists , The space created by MQM will not provide space for IK or PTI i think the coming elections are going to be a surprising one for many

IK has done in 5 years what others didnt in 70. You dont even have to go PTI propaganda websites just check with neutral sources. Evaluate his reforms in Police , Governance , Tourism , Health , Environment and you will know.

I am a resident of KP so I know what work has been done.

It's everyones right to choose to vote or not vote. I personally am not a fan of the democractic system - i think it's a glorified popularity contest and not the best way to run a country.

Having said that, every vote not cast is a vote that could have prevented corrupt people coming to power. In the last general election 55% of registered voters actually voted. 45% of people registered to vote didn't bother. In many places crooks won seats by a few thousand votes. This election will be the same. PPP is in disarray, PMLN stands exposed, MQM has self destructed - now more than ever your vote will count.

I personally urge everyone to vote PTI - give change a chance. If they don't deliver we will kick them out in 5 years time, but by voting for the same failed parties or by not voting - we cannot expect change.

Who will change the mind of Sindhis? Its like they are stuck in a time warp and cannot get out of it. Havent seen a more guilable ethnicity in Pakistan.
