Will reviving MMA have an impact on the 2018 elections?

I just recently came back from Pakistan, and found even less support for ANP than previous elections. JUIF votes are still intact as far as i could tell.

As far as winning the elections PTI will make history and get a 2nd term in KPK, but i am not sure about the rest of Pakistan.
ANP had zero support before the election in 2013 but still they managed to get some of the key seats. As i said earlier, PTI will form the government once again KPK but will lose share of vote to ANP.

PML-N is too powerful in Punjab where it seems impossible for them to lose. Winning in Punjab also means large proportion of seats in Federal government

The bottom line is, MMA is history

I agree with this assessment, I was saying about a year ago that PMLN will probably form the next government. More recent developments will reduce their chances, however, I don't think the overall picture will change too much. Punjab has enough seats within it for PMLN to effectively deny opposition parties the ability to rule if enough seats are taken only there. Hence the need, if PTI does do better than expected, it will have to form multiple coalitions.
