i would love a pattan who understands the full spectrum from sind baloch punjabi kasmiri(did i miss any other guy out )to be our leader,unlike karzai fake party run by ocupation or mr 10 % that gets blackmailed you no gonna get your money back unless you do as we say.

Imran Khan really unites all ppl of Pakistan - the only thing against him that ppl say is his old life and it has nothing to do with his political aim to improve Pakistan thru democracy

I think POST war on Terror , Imran Khan could HELP fix damage to Pakistan name brand in world !!

see i will say one thing which is very true, Sometimes being to straight and real is deadly, Pakistan will be sanctioned, Pakistan will be weak enough to take on by any powerful country, Our all sectors will be destroyed, We will be bank corrupt in no time. 90s were different because india was also sanctioned but now if Pakistan get sanctioned, India will be free which will make india way more powerful, China will abandon Pakistan since it will not be any good to have weak Pakistan, Indian economy will go 1000 times stronger to Pakistan and Pakistan will be left 50 years behind India! Pakistani people like to compete with world powers at least in coffee shops but after Pakistan is sanctioned and nailed for not cooperate with west and rest of the world, We will truly be doomed........ our defense sector will be hit hard, economy will be doomed, Taliban style culture will be promoted since inran khan is easily fooled by terrorist, simply Pakistan will be another iraq afghanistan, We will be working in IRAN and INDIA just as Poor Afghans work in Pakistan and INIDA and IRAN...... Imran Khan will never be elected no matter what Inshah Allah, Allah will not allow it, and army will never let it happen..... We are better off looted but living by ppp pnln but dead by PTI..... I strongly suggest that Imran must work with APML Musharraf should be president and Imran should be PM, Musharraf handle the rest of the world and IMran handle national affair and try to finish off corruption, both can truly work together and serve Pakistan in better way, I know Musharraf will shake hand with imran since he is sincere but imran will keep acting like a kawoocha, hardheaded and he will never truly help Pakistan...... many of you can disagree with me but the bottom line is, Musharraf is 68 years old he has max 5-10 years to live, its not like musharraf will live forever or rule Pakistan, both can really work for Pakistan and then after 5 years Musharraf can fade away and PTI and APML can unit and kick all old parties out and bring more sincere people to serve Pakistan

Let me remind you one thing that PTI is a public-oriented party, the lack of "famous" faces other than Imran Khan does not mean Imran Khan is being selected, but its still going to be a public supported PTI that comes to power.

The change towards PTI would fundamentally mean 2 things.

Justice system would improve.

I see a lot of foolish comments that there would be US based antagonism and that our economy would worsen?

Seriously who here thinks Zardari is improving our economy?

Is it antagonizing the US just to position Pakistan free and independent from US control? Are we seriously such big cowards that we are fearing sanctions from the US just for that?

Also it is absolute hogwash that he supports terrorists. Imran Khan is the only politician who has openly challenged the entire world to access his account information, both personal and political and see if there has been any suspicious activity on it.

Everybody else hides their information.

Besides the usual honesty, integrity, etc., I expect three things from a leader:
A- a vision, and the ability to sell it.
B- firm leadership supported by qualified subordinates (to implement the details of the vision).
C- to inspire a nation to be their best.

We know Imran Khan can deliver A).
I agree we still don't know about B).
But I believe his greatest strength lies in C). Imran Khan will be like Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. He will give Pakistan the one thing we need more than anything else: a sense of pride and purpose.

Interesting, Bhutto was no patriot (his role in the break up of Pakistan), nor did Bhutto give Pakistanis anything to be proud of -- Some say Bhutto gave Pakistan nuclear weapons, indeed only scientists could have done that - Maybe Pakistanis can be mature about this -- all peoples want HOPE, a sense that the future will be better for their them and their children, and to the degree that Pakistanis want SELF RESPECT, we might ask what is it that Pakistanis hold near and dear which they see as drivers or elements that constitute SELF RESPECT and therefore DIGNITY, I would suggest that the answers might suprize the utopians and "my (fiil in the blanks) is bigger than yours" types -- Lives of Dignity, the protection of citizens and their property, Law that is serious about itself and it's indispensable role in promoting harmony in society.

That's what I mean by delegating to qualified subordinates. We don't expect Imran Khan to have the answers; we expect him to have the wisdom to hire qualified people and implement their recommendations. I agree he hasn't demonstrated this ability yet.

We all acknowledge that Bhutto had his dark side with the ego (Bangladesh) and the religious pandering (Ahmadis), but nobody can deny that it was Bhutto who restored our pride and turned Pakistan around from the depair of 1971.

Some say Bhutto gave Pakistan nuclear weapons, indeed only scientists could have done that - Maybe Pakistanis can be mature about this

The same way that JFK is credited with inspiring America to go to the moon, Bhutto deserves credit for our nuclear program. It goes without saying that there were many heroes, but it doesn't diminish Bhutto's role.

If Imran Khan can harness and give direction to forces that will allow Pakistanis to respect themselves through their accomplishments towards creating lives of dignity and therefore a more just society, sure, we'll all say with numility that we were wrong about him.

And some of us will say that we were right all along.
