Twin Engined J-10? What Happened to it

Stealthy - notice the Y at the end. Between, stealth is a continuum. There is nothing that is completely invisible to detection. There are US professionals who post this not only in other forums but on PDF - that in operational conditions, these so called invisible jets are necessarily invisible.

The RCS of any aircraft varies, operationally, in terms of angles, and in terms of what radar is detecting it. Modern radars have greater ability to detect stealth aircraft, as do special radars that are able to consistently detect stealth aircraft.

Is the block 3 more stealthy than the Block 2? Some would suggest so. If I recall, including messiach. Is the Super Hornet stealthier than the Hornet? I would think so. Is the Azm going to be stealthier than the JF-17? I hope so!

Where is the lack of logic in this post my friend?

I never said Super Hornet has a weapons bay. Or other things you mention. Please check my post. I'm merely making an analogy. Hornet - little brother. Super Hornet - Big brother. Jf-17 - little brother. Azm - big brother. Does that simplify things?

And why do you say that AZM will be modified STEALTH version of JFT???

Okay, well at least you've drawn down from me lacking logic and common sense, and knowledge of aerodynamics, to just me lacking common sense.

That's an improvement from my perspective.

first tell me what is Aerofoil, what is area rule fuselage, what is LERX, what is leading and trailing edge flaps, what fowler flaps, what is high and low angle off attack and what is high and low bypass turbofan engine???

By JF-17 based layout I mean a conventional layout very broadly similar to JF-17 / F-16 (Rather than say the J-10, J-20, Rafale, etc). Single engine, conventional layout.

Brother that do not makes it JF-17 bases or inspired as being claimed in some posts. That is misleading.

Plus about that argument with @Deino, he didn't called you stupid. He called the idea of a fifth gen planed BASED on a 4th gen JF-17 as stupid and i too agree with him in that. The FGFA we get as a result of Project Azm will be a different and new aircraft, while it may be influenced by some other ongoing projects of fifth gen planes (Chinese, Turkish etc) it wont be based on any 4th gen plane like Jf-17 or F-16 etc. Whether it will be single engine or twin engine remains to be seen.


Two @Armchair & @Deino please cool down. It all started with what appears to be a misunderstanding (armchair thinking he was called stupid), let us not drag this further.


PLUS, THE WHOLE THREAD IS ABOUT A DEAD PROJECT! THERE ARE MANY OTHER TWIN ENGINE OPTIONS OUT THERE IF WE REALLY ARE LOOKING TO PROCURE SOME SUCH AIRCRAFT FROM CHINA. REVIVING A DEAD PROGRAM FOR 36 PLANES DO MAKES ANY SENSE.
