Tough love! Modi’s raising Balochistan doesnt mean he has abandoned hopes of a historic peace

Maybe its time for you to see things from a different perspective... 20 years in congress is a long time.
See this is the reason i do not discuss with kids. You make a blanket statement , i told you i know most ministers who are in the current govt , (bjp) .
I was talking about politics , you immediately thought and equated it with parties. you do realize that most of the politicians across party lines are very good friends? also most are business partners with each other. So that irrespective of who comes to power , money does not stop.

I know, but all i am saying is that this is an allegation made by opposing parties repeatedly. It comes as no surprise that you are saying the same thing. "Modi is dictator, interfering other work". Its not new. Its a very old and is being used ever since Modi was CM.

Where did i use the word dictator or fascist ? it was you who introduced it into our conversation.

. .
You didn't, it was an inference...

Gaurav Sawant was the Anchor, i kinda forgot the channel. Think it was Headlines today..
Am i to be blamed if you inferred something from my post ?
fact is you feel it . stop trying to have such blind loyalty towards him , he is just a human being , flawed as the rest of us .

.
Ok, you got me sufficiently intrigued to give you a threat - your next post better tell what it was about or am offline in next 5 mins and so good night

I did not see the documentary myself, but from the gist of the twitter posts i believe it was about the considerably disenchantment of Baluchis with their govt.

. . .
He has shown what is the difference between this govt and the previous govt. We have now stopped avoiding bouncers and instead hitting them for six

I will not be surprised if he raises Balochistan at the UN. that will be a real slap on the face of the pakistanis
Yes go ahead raise Baluchistan and on similar platform we raise khalistan naxals dalits issue so where we will stand don't. Act like stupid in UN no one is like modi sitting people listen you but won't do anything for you on Baluchistan specifically Iran won't help you to cut off Baluchistan no one internationally too and China will also make life difficult for you in Arabian Sea and in UN meeting you going to make big mistake

Even you're foreign minister criticise. Modi on raising Baluchistan saying it is not gully danda modi playing

In your own home people won't support it

. . .
So you mean they are not enough qualified ?
I dont think so.
They are qualified but their specialization is totally different than their predecessors..
Most of them are from intelligence field.
Man Mohan Singh gave priority to peace oriented relationship. So his collegues were IFS not IPS.
Of Course some of his decision was brilliant .Avoiding a tactical ops after 26/11 and opted for a diplomatic offensive .

That gave us an enormous advantage in world forums ,so much that even this govt still bearing its fruits. But it also had some weakness , terrorists and nuisances across the border always targeted our soldiers and civilians .

Shifting from that policies gave some benefits to our current GoI .But unecessary comments of some ministers and officials caused more damage than good.
We should give ,our media and govt ,less prominence to the Pakistan affairs .

I disagree with some of what you have said here, but agree with the most of it (if you will excuse the rather idiosyncratic English).

.
few hypothesis (All could be wrong, more than one could be correct)
  1. New found warmth in Indo US relations might be allowing India to think, this is the best time to adopt a hawkish stance on most explosive issue in sub continent.
  2. Things haven't gone well but India has reasons to believe China might want to entertain some sort of give & take diplomacy involving pressurizing Pakistan for Indian support on SCS issue. Before we jump on to say, India doesn't matter on SCS issue, well reaction of Chinese press might indicate otherwise.
  3. Major state elections lined up in India next year. Not many understand international diplomacy, but anyone taking a hard-line stance against our western neighbor is perceived a tough man.
  4. Nawaz is again surrounded by corruption charges and faces incumbency. I'm not sure how army in Pakistan is reacting to all this, but as has been case in past too, raking K issue helps.
Ultimately we land up in a situation which is quite reminiscent of Cold war brinkmanship. I'm not sure if anyone gives a two hoot to Kashmir issue but the issue doesn't look heading for a solution anytime soon.
I say we wait 6 months and see how things move from here. My guess is we'll end up solving one of those vector algebra problem of Zero displacement.
Good Night all!

. .
I think the effects are kicking in, if you go through the statements coming out of the Pakistani FO after the speech. But let's see who's more creative with words and milks it most for their benefits.
