I won't be surprise if US offers F35s down the road

It just might happen......but it would require total capitulation of our geo strategic interests....here is what we need to do specifically to get F35. 1. accepting gangadesh as our abba jee....and you know what that means. 2. Giving up our strategic weapons 3. Regarding China as our enemy. 4. Enhancing their strategic goals in the mid East and Afghanistan. That's a steep price to pay to get F35s.....and we Will have same issues with these jets as we do with F16s.

SU-35 is a beast and a truck, i would prefer it over F-16s, J-11/15, J-10 and JF-17 !!!

Although I am a great fan of of Su-35, but in my humble opinion, it will come out second best against the latest iterations of the sino-flankers. Because in modern air combat, which is all based on the edge in aviation electronics or simply put avionics, the lack of AESA radar, lack of a AESA based seeker AAM like PL-15 and PL-XX and the general supremacy of China in aviation electronics and miniaturization over Russia will be a key factor in sino-flankers besting the Russian super flanker. Maneuverability has been greatly countered by HOBS missiles like PL-10 and AIM-9X etc.

The main reason for even buying the Su-35 was the engine and the technology through which the Russians reduced the RCS to below 3m² from over 8m².

I very much doubt the Paf going with russia on a 5th gen program---. They have already established parameters of working with the chinese---where there is mutual understanding of what the other party needs to do to be successful towards a common goal---.

A team has already been built---there is no reason to disturb that relationship---.

The chinese need to develop their product further and there is no one better equipped than the pakistanis to test it---.

Exactly, And so far only China can be trusted with 5th gen requirement or Turkey if they are able to export their 5th in next 5 years or so. Unlike F-16 Pakistan will have full freedom to utilize it in which ever way they want to.

Highlight the RCS part, that is the only reason why SU-35 is the King of all Flankers.

Russians made a beautiful machine which takes the best aspects of usual flankers and reduced its RCS considerably and as per modern combat requirements !!!

Chinese flankers are thought to use maximum amount of composites so no data is available about their RCS.

One cannot count them better with no authentic info available on net !!! But that doesn’t mean they are any lesser. J-11D was the best try China had at copying SU-35.

SU-35 and J-11D, both lack canards. Canards are known to increase the RCS

They will not ask anything like that Americas biggest trading partner is China plus Pak is not a small country it's big enough can't be ignor. Americans don't care about india yes its theior trading partner but not like China and Japan. After blk 3 Pak doesn't need F16s blk 70 yes older will get V upgrades but Pak should use CSF funds for F35. I don't see any issue like 80s they offered Us F16s when nobody Beleive on it but we got it.

F35 project is American BRI like china's BRI. With CSF Pak should negotiate F35 plus building some parts for export lot 13 of F35 will be less than 100 million per copy.

Its not a mature enough platform to consider it.....Best off the shelf option available to PAF comes from China.

stay away from any Su planes. Russian supply chain is problematic to begin with and they will milk you dry once you start the delivery process. Anything quoted goes 3x the original price. That is probably why CHinese started to copy them as they could not be relied upon to deliver.

Well, let me rephrase, Blk 4 is there for par or bettering what blk 70 can do. JF-17 is still a teenager .
