A hypersonic threat can be dealt with by early detection from continuous satellite coverage. Followed by tracking and coordination with interceptor batteries or aerial platforms firing missiles that can exceed the speed of the incoming threat missile.

AEW&C EXPANSION IAF

Along with Increasing Squadron sterngth for IAF, another critical long standing Project is AEW&C - II or NETRA MK-II Project.

6 units on Platform AirIndia A-319 based NETRA Mk-II AEW&C aircraft awaited .

The Uttam GaN Based AESA Radar Antennas work by DRDO began last year.

Induction starts in 2027 - 28.

Critical improvement in the RAM paint of the KAAN warplane

RAM paint, which is one of the technologies that will give KAAN the title of stealth aircraft, showed a success of 97% in the tests.

KAAN Fighter Jets RAM coating has been shown to absorb 97% of radar emissions in lab & drone testing.

KAAN is unique in that the Fibremat is embedded into the composite fuselage itself. Then a RAM coating is sprayed on the composite panels.

For conceptual clarity, a "hypersonic missile" and a "hypersonic glide vehicle" are two different types of systems, correct? Also, would it be correct to say, "a HGV can be a hypersonic missile, but a hypersonic missile need not be a HGV?" @SQ8 @MilSpec

Not going to happen. Iranian generals are focused on developing deterrence further. Focus on their defence industry.

Our generals are too busy with developing DHA's, making p-o-r-n, golf courses, whisky etc....

June 2023 : Kızılelma conducted a mid-altitude flight test with redesigned horizontal and vertical stabilizers.

Kizilelma's front body modifications continue.

A New Prototype may be coming up already based on Test Results.

At first we witnessed the shrinking of the wings,

Now we see that the area has been reworked.

It looks like this will continue.

The Prototype initially flying was P1.
