No, 4 Saab, 4 ZDK as ZDK were delivered in 2 phases, Last two were delivered in 2014 so total 4 ZDK in PAF Inventory

As of now PAF has 4 Saab-2000 as AWACS role as these all 4 developed for the PAF under Project Horizon, The 1 you just said about to used as transporter is a VIP transport plane and used to train aircrew for the Saab 2000 Erieye AEW&C which was delivered in December 2008,

3 were damaged. 10040 remained unscathed because it was in the air at that time. Out of 3. 1 written off, one repaired, one's status unknown.

Nobody to blame but our self. We had strong intel 2 weeks before attack Kamra would come under attack. Lethargic attitude cost us in the end.

This attack was a shamefull chapter i paf history...

Within parliment it was stated that one had minor shrapnel damage... and one may be written off....
Than later they said that the one that was to be written off by saab, has successfully been repaired....and is flying


I am exactly saying to believe in what secretory of defence said in parliment under oath....
please dont make up facts unless you have a solid reason to doubt what parliment has been told....
