On the face of it they look pretty pissed off, infact making all the right noises against this verdict like rejecting JIT even though they were never part of the petition.

My take is, they sense as well under the table deal between Noora clan and "establishment". This notorious "mesaq-e-jamhooriyat" was based on taking turns in the center. So in prinicipal, next turn would be of Zardari and billo rani, BUT with Maryam Safdar getting clean chit in both Panama and Dawnleak, there is no doubt she will put as PM candidate on next election, with the blessings of both international and local establishments, leaving Zardari and billo rani in lurch. Perhaps that's why Aitezaz Ahsan was coming hard on why Maryam was given clean chit when she is central to this Noora clan doggy business empire.

I still think PPP is doing topi drama.. They want petitioners to go for review..knowing fully well..tht it will cause further delay, to no avail...
If Nawaz Sharif would have been caught on corruption...phir Zaradri ne bhi phansna tha... PPP is relieved tht Nawaz Sharif is saved.. Now they are just doing topi drama

Political turmoil can easily be brushed aside. This is Pakistan we are talking about. We forget easy.
By 2026 Pakistan would be in a position to solve its problem internally without outside say in grander scheme of things.

I have been thinking about this verdict for the last three days and so far reached following conclusions:

1. The disqualification was very easy, given the amount of material judges had. If there is a split verdict, which is on DISQULIFICATION ONLY, then there has to be a more than legal / judicial reason.
2. In my view, the reason is political. One should not forget that NS is a leader of a political party and has the potential to create mayhem in the country (even if that the mayhem can be curtailed after much effort - keep this in the background of current Zarb-e-Azab and Raddul-fasad, where the forces are already stretched). The intelligence agencies must have had heard some whispering and murmuring.
3. Hence, the best outcome can be that NS is made to implode, rather than that he explodes.
4. The implosion is that he resigns.
5. The JIT can interrogate him and his sons and show the evidence they have, IK can thunder in every city, the media can humiliate him.
6. He has been weakened already and will weaken further in the next 60 days.
7. After the 60-days even if he chooses not to resign, he can be fired with very little political hoo-ha.

Yup, but 'we' (with this view) are a small minority in this thread

Bro.. noonies will never understand.. They don't care about people dying on Pakistan roads due to lack of medical facilities, but they approve Shareef family's treatment on tax payers money in London.

After this case, and reading the remarks of 5 judges (2 of them comparing him with GODFATHER character, and the rest of the three initiating criminal investigations against him), they still believe shareef family loves Pakistan and Pakistanis.

I feel sorry for them really.. They think we hate Pakistan, despite knowing almost all of us are happy in our lives and don't need this Jihad bil Qalam, but we suffer when Pakistanis suffer.. We know these poor souls will again vote for their looters, even then we continue with our little effort..

Pakistan, at this juncture needs a strong leader who is patriotic and can influence the world. I personally may not like Imran Khan but I know he's not corrupt. If he could be that leader, then I am for him.

Pakistan, at this juncture needs a strong leader who is patriotic and can influence the world. I personally may not like Imran Khan but I know he's not corrupt. If he could be that leader, then I am for him.

You are talking about Zardari here who didn't even spare his wife to get to power. I don't think he will take lightly Noora clan again in power next election with his own clan reduced to interior sindh, where it was his turn in the center come next election. This is what muk mukka was based on.

I would love to see these two Dons of political mafia destroy each other.

Justice Wajihuddin says tht new bench will be constituted, just to monitor the JIT..after every two weeks....... After JIT completes its work...its report will be brought before the same panama bench, tht heard this case till now... He says..findings of JIT, will not be final or legally binding..and judges will have authroity to even reject the findings of JIT......

Anchor again asked...tht when JIT completes its work..will it come before the same panama bench..tht heard this case till now? Theres some confusion regd it... But he said...yes..this is what happens in such cases.... There are many such precedents..he used a special legal word fpr such type of cases. (Part heard....? ) He even gave example of Justice Anwar Jamali's bench..tht it said ..tht we are completely dissolving the bench..and will not treat this case, further as (part heard..?) but here theres no such thing..and same bench will hear the case, after JIT brings its report

Mujhe tu ek cheez par aitraz hai... Aap ko criminal investigations jaisy bhi karani theen...what stopped you from giving decision on 62/63 ? Other than some weird technicalities? Criminal investigation is another matter..and being sadiq/ ameen or not..is entirely another matter.... There was enough evidence regd PM, not being sadiq / Ameen...and judges could give decision on tht, just like 2 judges have done... But majority judges gave weird explanations regd tht...whether article 62 deals with legal honesty or moral honesty??? As if a PM being morally dishonest is ok...and theres no problem with it..and nobody can challenge him??

Fulfilling 62 63 is basic requirement for MNA to be the part of national assembly and its application shud be even more strict when that MNA is our Prime Minister, you fulfil the basics and then you move further on technicalities, i fail to understand that how on earth these 3 blind and deaf judges were able to ignore the basics of the case and move further ahead with technicalities and other questions, PM lied on floor of the parliament while he was under oath, he lied again on national television while addressing the national, he lied again in his response in court, he is not sadiq and ameen booommm !! DISQUALIFIED !! its as simple as that, the other questions comes after that.

I thought...he was just sensationalising the issue.. But ab lagta hai ke waqayi kuch hua hai...

Sensationalising ko aik taraf rakho yahan baat common sense ki hai, main dewar main sar maron kahan jaoun main ke 3 judges poray verdict main NAB, FBR, FIA or unkay heads ko bad duaeen detay rahay ke woh nakaam hain nakara hain farrigh hain, chairman NAB tu PM ki insurance policy thay and then suddenly in the same verdict wohi 3 judges inhi nakaam NAB, FBR, FIA ke under aik JIT bana detay hain, matlab pori 22 carore qoom ko kia Abid Sher ali samjha huwa hai SC ne ?
