I think the major issue with (East Pakistan) Bangladesh was they thought Pakistan had great amount of Cash which they did not shared with Bangladesh. But we did not had that much cash, people in West Pakistan made 1-4 Rupees per day only
1965 War left our Economy (United Pakistan) lacking financial funding , and things went to worse with constant Floods in (East Pakistan) Bangladesh
Was Extra water intentionally released in East Pakistan / Bangladesh , to cause maximum suffering to East Pakistani , you be the judge look at the flood table ?

Today any investor comes to Invest in East Pakistan (Bangladesh) people will not argue why are you investing ? West Pakistani should have been thanked for their help
So when you view the problems United Pakistan faced , were not just name calling we had to deal with "Large scale Natural Disaster " which drained on National GDP or savings.
Dealing with 500,000 Deaths was a major issue , and also you can imagine how much pressure it put on National Reserves
East Pakistan (Bangladesh's ) major issue was weather "Curse" and it had nothing to do with West Pakistani in the BIG SCHEME of things
People just used the floods as a excuse to blame West Pakistan for their problems
if there were "no Floods" economy in East Pakistan would be similar to that of West Pakistan
So who really floods East Pakistan (Bangladesh) now and even in Past ? India
You see Indians release water at will to flood East Pakistan (Bangladesh)
Is this West Pakistan problem ? Or India
Were 500,000 Deaths were caused by West Pakistan or Indian River ?
If anything , the nation that caused damage to East Pakistan's economy was India due to floods from 2 sides as can be seen in image 1 / image 2
Even today - your economy is damaged by Indian floods and you cannot blame it on West Pakistan

You cannot blame West Pakistan for your Natural Disasters , we tried to setup Textile industry in East Pakistan and improve lives of Bangali , but it was India who continued to flood East Pakistan (Bangladesh) and drove it to Poverty

How come the Pakistani state negotiated the Indus water treaty with India ? What action was taken with respect to sharing Ganga & Brahmaputra waters ?
