Is there prospect of 'sanctions' post withdrawl?Let's start with whether Pakistan was able to act in its own interest during either or both or neither of these time periods. It might give an idea of what might happen in this third era beginning after the US withdrawal.
Why would taliban free up kashmir for you? What will they get in exchange? The US will use its proxies to destabilise Pakistan through terrorism but as taliban free up Kashmir and Americas darling India will be in our cross hairs
They would simply use Uzbak airspace,USTRANSCOM comes handy in this case.Fvck these ungrateful Americans. I hope we don't even let them exit through our territory and air space.
Loool the 1st time Pakistan tried it took half of Kashmir....azad KashmirIncorrect.
To stay on topic, please keep in mind the blowback Pakistan received the first time around it tried this strategy.
The prime reason for USA failure in afghanistan was confusing PAK AFG issues with India china issuesI am sure Pakistan will choose wisely to best serve its national interests, whatever it decides.
I would still consider that as a failureLoool the 1st time Pakistan tried it took half of Kashmir....azad Kashmir

Because all i can see is relation between two former allies are on downward spiral since long now and with new admins in DC,I fear that it may happen.

By giving leverage and free hand to india and it proxies it forced pakistan to change sides.
This along with refusal to talk in mid 2000s with taliban essentially steered a victory in afghanistan to an epic failure
You send a million men to the border. Your soldiers killed each other. Not a single incident on our side. Then you tucked tail and ran home again. There is ebb and flow of relationships in international geopolitics constantly. Both countries involved here will make their own determinations on how to best pursue their national interests, with or without sanctions, after considering the pros and cons of each situation. Pakistan may conclude that it can withstand any potential damage caused by sanctions with the help of its new supporters. Or USA may conclude that it loses more by sanctioning Pakistan than by trying to work with it.
That is true, but I was referring to the 21st century mainly.
Yes, now that Pakistan has defeated USA, the next steps taken by both countries will be important.

Please stop being the stupid Indian and focus on corona. No, you are doing everything perfectly. Please carry on as you wish. The costs for past actions will continue to accrue as they have been.

Its a partial defeat. USA successfully crushed Al-Qaeda and succeeded in spreading turmoil in the ME. It was unable to defeat the Taliban and floundered trying to nation build. Many years ago, but USA announced its departure only now after the realization of its defeat sunk in at the White House. Clearly.
That wasnt the objective ..it never triedIts a partial defeat. USA successfully crushed Al-Qaeda and succeeded in spreading turmoil in the ME. It was unable to defeat the Taliban and floundered trying to nation build.
