It depends on who you talk. I am not talking about perceptions or narrative here. The ground realities, the facts is what I am after. Lets start with how many Pakistani citizens died in a war which was fought directly against a super power, the soviets, to the one where Pakistan allied and aided the other super power, US, with its occupation of Afghanistan. The economic cost, the infrastructure, Pakistan global image, etc.
Well, Pakistan did not fight a direct war with either USSR or USA. Ever. It was only a useful conduit in both conflicts, that is all.
