2 AW 139 are at K2 to pick up polish climbers and bring them to Naga Parbat and they will climb the mountain to rescue these mountaineers while Pakistan Army will try to get them from a higher point because the climbers are stranded higher than a AW 139 can fly.

Ecreuil are there not AW139.
Ecureuil are known to fly to summit of Everest.

Polish are one of the most racist and uncivilised people in Europe. Definitely there needs to be a financially guarantee sir because it is not an ordinary rescue ...it involves expensive equipment and very high risk.....very few forces (if any) in the world will be ready to do the job.

This is not shameful because who ever goes up there will die. It is snow and all the team sent by Pakistan is at risk of losing life it is currently snowing there. The mountain is already known as killer mountain.


This is polans own effort and Pak Army is also trying to rescue them.
A helicopter was only able to deposit Polish rescuers at 4,800 meters, meaning they will have to climb through the night to reach Elisabeth Revol who is trying to descend further from her bivy at 6,700 meters. Tomek Mackiewicz is considerably higher pat 7,300 meters with poor weather forecasted in the coming days

I see another problem...evry year in Italy we spend millions to bring people down from the mountains...

The worst was when a group of elderly people walked up Mt Etna...while Etna was erupting.

Climbers with binoculars at the base camp spotted Ms Revol trying to climb down, while Mr Mackiewicz was crawling.

"They had spent one night outside the camp and the Polish mountaineer has got frostbite and snow blindness so he is not able to climb down," a local climber in contact with the base camp team told the AFP news agency.

Good 4 u. When I was in Atlanta, I used to hold the biggest meet up on weekly basis for programming enthusiasts.. however I never charged anyone for that... it was just my passion and way to return the favour to the society because my business paid me more than sufficient. Rather many other programming professional teachers were angry at me for ruining their businesses.

@Kaptaan they are above 7300 m higher than any helicopter in the world can fly. Who ever goes up there will die. If polish are so eager they can do it them selves but in this operation every thing has to be calculated. they want their man down in sec but we cannot get our man killed in the process this rescue needs planning. Under the current weather any helicopter cannot make altitude more than 6000m and there are not landing pads at that height my friend. Polish are just bashing to get their men down nothing more.
