Is the Navy Planning on procuring replacements for P3-Cs?

Sir, F-17s are able to take near 4k weight which is too low for naval use as naval missiles has weight more than 1k.. and its speed it is also low as maritime lanes has been near doubled.. its ferry range is low

There was talk a few months back that the Navy was converting 6 recently acquired Fokkers for surveillance use. However, I doubt the Fokkers will do much to fill in the gap, if they were meant for that purpose.

The Navy should look into some new chinese platforms and customise it. Like they did with the ZDK-3.

Guys, please provide pics and specs of any alternatives to the P-3Cs and lets evaluate.

The US Coast Guard is a lower tier organization in terms of defending the country compared to the USN. The Coast Guards are more to watch smugglers, traffickers, law enforcement and littoral airspace and ocean monitoring than fighting a battle.

P3C's are great assets but they've become older and close to being obsolete due to much advanced tech available on P-8.

I think pak china co develop a anti sub role aircraft we previously have atlantiques also but retired now just one older playform enemy posses twice the better aircraft balance if sea war shifting to india P 8 is not a option for pakistan we want co production with chinese as we did ZDK 03 our navy always sleeping doing nothing time to wake up

JF-17 don't have good loiter time and range, it will not be able to go after IN near Gulf of Aden without escort, mid air refueling.

With drop tanks it will not be able to carry much weapons load, J-11B or higher J series jet are need of time due to several reasons.

whatever jf-17 has to offer is enough for us, it can carry two anti-ship missiles, and will be able to patrol at enough range to keep the indian navy away from gwadar and karachi, i.e at about 500km from both. our navy is a small one and its role is area denial not area control. two squadrons of jf-17s will be enough for the navy. and from a range of 500km, indian navy cant do much against PN.

Considering Pakistan's sea limits have almost doubled, Pakistan Navy's surveillance aircrafts fleet is dwindling. It must act fast and fill up the gap. P3s going to be obsolete soon and Indians are moving ahead with the purchase of P8I. What platform do you think our navy should go for in the near future?

If Japan is ready to sell weapons than it has good replacement for P3C and China recently came up with it's answer to P3C orion

P3C is for Anti Submarine role and JF-17 is for anti ship role

No, its not enough. JF-17 is a point defense fighter, it don't have things which are required for current and future threats posed by IN & IAF.
