Is PAF any good now after the russian sale of S-400 to Indians

I wonder why is US selling those 8 F16 to Pakistan, they offered it on their own...for what?

May be they want us to pitch these against S400 in real scenario.

mmmm ,,, Isn't it exactly what i said? If you read my post you will see that i have multiple times admitted that S400 is an extremely potent system. However, will you like to comment about whether PAF should stop buying aircrafts as India now have S400 so the fighters wont be any good. OR that US fear S400 and that is the reason they never attacked Iran? THESE WERE THE STUPID CLAIMS I WAS RESPONDING TO. I will again say that S400 is an excellent surface to air missile.

I cannot assure you on this- Since the deal is yet to occur- but most probably S-400 will heavily consist of 40N6 and 48H6E missile and will be used to for a shield around important cities for defense against Ballistic missile - and a few for long- range engagement with force multipliers like Air-Tankers, AEW&C, Military transport aircrafts-

Other than that US fearing S-400 is stupid statement to make- USAF have been developed to counter these systems not that It would be like bread and butter definitely nasty- the best thing they have is that they continue to evolve and have the right instruments for research and manufacturing- so they are a different league altogether along with Russia- because they make things while we buy-

After the fiasco in Syria, PAF should give a very serious thought before buying anything entirely Russian. This is a very humble opinion from a naive in aerospace technology. Russian equipment + Indian maintenance is a marriage in heaven!!!

Shot down a defenceless old su-24 bomber with BVR f-16 and bragging about better tech?Try and take on the s-400 now going to syria and we'll see how good ur boast is.In all foreign exercises IAF sortie rates were high.

They(PAF) wanted to have European radars for their JF-17 program- Up gradation of their SAM system etc- MMRCA made the Europeans reluctant-

well to send in decoys , anty radiation missiles and implimenting jammers and EW suites you first need to bring your fighters close to S400s missile launchers and radars but before you that your aircraft will be shot down as there are other assets intigrated into the larger system and with gorund based radars like AESA & PESA based Rajendra, green pine and swordfish and AWACS like Phalcon we are already monitoring all your air traffik as far as hindu kush range .... if you know what i mean

There are surface launched decoys too, plus S-400 has ammo limitations too . Even a swarm of decoys, will do the trick, once that's done, it's Indian's without S-400 again.
Likewise we too monitor your air traffic, to an extent what may serve our needs.
Everything has it's weaknesses.
