well by that yard stick i remmeber a few years back you were making funny taunts against all russian militarry hardware miliatrry helicopters like Mi-17s and Mi-25-35 , MKI & su-35 , all russian missiles including there air to air and surface to air missiles and radars till china decided to go for su-35 & S400 (even they themselfs make flanker clones and there version of s300) and pakistan decided to go for Mi-17 and Mi35 .... now if that is not double standards what is :azn: :coffee:

Yes Iran has S 300 only.

It's just an up gradation of the war machinery t an Indian pace of course (which translates to slow but steady).

Newer and much more potent systems in naval, air, ground, surveillance will keep adding up based on strategic requirements and based on goals to completely overhaul and modernise the forces.

For me, if i was a Pakistan military planner, i will look at this deal with open eyes but wont lose sleep over it. Although an extremely potent systems and a threat to our aircraft, i wont term it as a final blow or a GAME ENDING procurement.

In an engagement- every component act as a combined force- and significance of even a small thing like buraq cannot be ignored atleast on this side of the border-

If I were a Pakistani military planner I would definitely loose sleep over It(MMRCA)- Not because the opponent got some good aircraft i.e. Rafale, not even If It were to be Raptor- what would bother me is that with MMRCA my opponent successfully didn't allow any significant co-operation or defense deal with the better suppliers of military hardware and component quality wise- for my force which cannot compete with them on quantity- Which have seriously harmed my preparedness against them-

. . .
so what according to you stopped USA & its allies going in to iran :azn:
It is being discussed in length on lot of other threads and we both know that. Also i feel that we both no that no single missile system or military hardware is capable to stopping some country to do to war (unless it is a nuclear weapon and the countries are sensible enough to know the meaning of MAD)
I would again say that no doubt S400 is an extremely potent systems but things are being exaggerated (AS ALWAYS) and getting out of proportion. Anyway, it is not costing me anything. :) I was just saying and it you guys want to think that S400 suddenly is capable of casting some spell on Pakistan and Pakistan military, so be it. I would just say that it is unfortunate for us that your military is not such fools.

AND A FUN FACT, Iran don't even have S400 :P

.
Dude you need to do better than that, once there were strong rumours of attacking North Korea, ....does NK by any chance has S400.
no but N korea has a stupid mad man as its commander who flashes his neukes and threttens to neuke S korea and japan every other day .... as they say in hindi nang barra parmeshawar chotta meaning fear those who have nothing to loose

Rafale was a natural progression to India using mirage 2000, a commonality of systems. It has nothing to do with any other country.

Similar to FGFA being a natural progression to SU30MKI.

well i sense some kind of anger and frustation towards your militarry planners in your comment ... am i right :azn:

but iran does has S300 and many other russian anty aircraft hardware + the fact that if they attack iran deu to its location on mouth of persian gulf iran can strangle it by activating a neuclear meltdown in that regeon which will be devastating for US & its allies economy and iran has that capacity ever since gulf war ended.... dont ask me how :coffee:

mmmm ,,, Isn't it exactly what i said? If you read my post you will see that i have multiple times admitted that S400 is an extremely potent system. However, will you like to comment about whether PAF should stop buying aircrafts as India now have S400 so the fighters wont be any good. OR that US fear S400 and that is the reason they never attacked Iran? THESE WERE THE STUPID CLAIMS I WAS RESPONDING TO. I will again say that S400 is an excellent surface to air missile.

Ok...
But....
I was talking about S400 not MMRCA. :(

I am afraid but you cannot be more wrong (even if you said with out that winking) What make you feel that way? I don't feel i said any such thing that will give such a wrong idea but if you miss interpreted something, let me correct you, NO, I am not angry with the military planner at all. Why would i be.

can you please correct some spellings? it is really hard to understand what you just said! :(

.
Sirji its pakistan Atum bomb blackmail ;)
nahi chotte pakistan knows that iran will never trust them but they dont want two fronts if they give there bases to attack iran like they did against afghanistan as afghanistan niether has oil nor means of destruction like what iran has for long deep burried under huge granite/stone mountains :coffee:

I know- I was telling him about how successfully MMRCA stopped other European suppliers and may be even US- making any worthwhile significant deal with PAF in hope of bagging the MMRCA deal- for a period of 15 years-
