Perhaps i'm wrong but as i remember Turkey is purchasing Iranian Gas already and price is the same price. If your government has budget problems, Iran can agree on long term pay back for purchased Gas. Anyway let's wait on the result of negotiations.

We dont have budget problem but UN sanctions and then higher selling price. May be you sold turkey at the same price and got a dispute. Now Iran have to agree on 13.3% discount or pay Turkey $ 1.9 billion for selling expensive gas. LOL. Peerlers!

It will take 2 maybe 3 generations to change the fortune of Pakistani People... Even India has better electricity sector than Pakistan and Pak is just 200M while you guys are 1.3B and its much harder to manage more people....

Pakistan is going to be friend with Iran and a forum thread cannot change the situation. Not backing out due Gulf states because we don't want to hurt our economy any more we need cheap gas and Iran has it. Neither Iran can cancel nor Pakistan can back off, It has become a Chinese investment now. Politics have to back off cause Army is doing the job now.

KSA cannot do any thing it is an old article posted here and not the full article posted here. the pipeline will be complete end of this year and China is now working on the project so very less options for USA or KSA to show diplomacy

Well, its not about Saudis, people dont like both equally..

our best friend is athiest China.. So no problem having shia friend... Azerbaijan is another example.

yes..India has too much to achieve...population may not be a problem if the equal development happens...at present there is lot of pressure on few major cities....if the equal employment can be generated in tier 3 and 4 cities and even in extreme rural areas...I dont see there is any problem to serve the population of even 1.5 billion...and regarding electricity, India is blessed with an ample sun light resource along with thorium...if we develop an economy of scale in these two areas..we will ve no energy shortage for next 100 generations for sure!

Yes but right now you have 310,000MW electricity that extremely low... Pakistan hasn't hit 30,000MW yet looool.

yes..not sure about the villages but have never seen any power outage in my city Mumbai...we are undeveloped countries and our per capita power consumption is very less...we have to catch up on many things and first being the higher HDI...lets see if we see our respective countries in the league of developed countries in our generation!

Bangladesh and PAK are terrible, India is slightly better but must reach 400,000MW by 2020... Also you guys have highest reserves of thorium get those reactors built, and export some to your Pakistani brothers too....
