The windmill for one was a persian invention , the typical scene in netherlands , is persian infact , the scythians (iranic tribe) raided into europe , so they must have had some sort of impact there , if not on you then on your women

And you definitely did not crush xerxes , it took until alexander for greeks and europeans to regroup , and alexander was not even a greek , he was a slav from macedonia ;

Xerxes left his generals to rule greece and himself left to crush a rebellion on babylon , back then that was the center of the world not europe

.
Persians steppes hordes moved very late to Iran(8th BC)bringing their very rude old Persian language(much more rude than dutsch or swedish)but of course they were numerically very inferior to thousand of years established semites,sumerians,elamites...
The original folks of iran(elamites who are very distantly linked to semites,gutians,kassites,hurrians,babylonians...)r efined this language and included a huge number of semitic(and other languages)loanwords and grammatical features so middle and modern persian are in fact the very mixed refined version of old persian spoken by semites and other folks of iran-mesopotamia that gave it a much more pleasant middle-eastern semite pronunciation.(even todays, the pronunciation of modern Persan is similar to the one of Iraqi, gulf and levantine dialects of Arabic)

The arriving Persians(or let's say the semite of Iran very naturally)adopted semitic Akkadian as their official language and Akkadian aphabet as their official alphabet(later moving to Semitic Aramean as official language and alphabet then to Semitic Arabic and Arabic alphabet).

In the modern Persian the word of bread is the Sumerian "nan".
Very interestingly,in the modern Persian coexist different semitic words derived of same semitic roots(for example akkadian GUNAH=sin, and same rooted arabic DJONHE=law enforcement)
Let's look at some "persian" cultural and religious items

A1/semite babylonians

sumerian_symbology-ashurs-winged-disc

semitic god dhushara(which gave birth to persian zoroastra,a word hat has not any serious persian etmology except the ridiculous camel-buyer but in semitic it means the very meaningful master of the ground and probably was taken by the Greeks as Zeus)
You filthy liar.

Zoroastrianism is a 'monotheism' religion while Sumerians and Babylonians followed paganism and believed to numerous various Gods !

Sumerian Gods and Goddesses

Zoroastrianism:

" In Zoroastrianism, Ahura Mazda is the beginning and the end, the creator of everything that can and cannot be seen, the Eternal, the Pure and the only Truth. In the Gathas, the most sacred texts of Zoroastrianism thought to have been composed by Zoroaster himself, the prophet acknowledged devotion to no other divinity besides Ahura Mazda.

Daena (din in modern Persian) is the eternal Law, whose order was revealed to humanity through the Mathra-Spenta("Holy Words"). Daena has been used to mean religion, faith, law. The latter is often interpreted as "duty" but can also mean social order, right conduct, or virtue. The metaphor of the "path" of Daena is represented in Zoroastrianism by the muslin undershirt Sudra, the "Good/Holy Path", and the 72-thread Kushti girdle, the "Pathfinder".

Daena should not be confused with the fundamental principle asha (Vedic rta), the equitable law of the universe, which governed the life of the ancient Indo-Iranians. For these, asha was the course of everything observable—the motion of the planets and astral bodies; the progression of the seasons; and the pattern of daily nomadic herdsman life, governed by regular metronomic events such as sunrise and sunset.

All physical creation (geti) was thus determined to run according to a master plan—inherent to Ahura Mazda—and violations of the order (druj) were violations against creation, and thus violations against Ahura Mazda. This concept of asha versus the druj should not be confused with the good-versus-evil battle evident in western religions, for although both forms of opposition express moral conflict, the asha versus druj concept is more systemic and less personal, representing, for instance, chaos (that opposes order); or "uncreation", evident as natural decay (that opposes creation); or more simply "the lie" (that opposes truth and righteousness). Moreover, in his role as the one uncreated creator of all, Ahura Mazda is not the creator of druj, which is "nothing", anti-creation, and thus (likewise) uncreated. Thus, in Zoroaster's revelation, Ahura Mazda was perceived to be the creator of only the good (Yasna 31.4), the "supreme benevolent providence" (Yasna 43.11), that will ultimately triumph (Yasna 48.1).

In this schema of asha versus druj, mortal beings (both humans and animals) play a critical role, for they too are created. Here, in their lives, they are active participants in the conflict, and it is their duty to defend order, which would decay without counteraction. Throughout the Gathas, Zoroaster emphasizes deeds and actions, and accordinglyasceticism is frowned upon in Zoroastrianism. In later Zoroastrianism, this was explained as fleeing from the experiences of life, which was the very purpose that theurvan (most commonly translated as the "soul") was sent into the mortal world to collect. The avoidance of any aspect of life, which includes the avoidance of the pleasures of life, is a shirking of the responsibility and duty to oneself, one's urvan, and one's family and social obligations. "

Zoroastrianism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Zoroastrians believe to Ahura mazda as the only God and Ahriman [devil] who is enemy of humans.

Zoroastrians believe in one God while Sumerians and Babylonians believed in so numerous Gods.

Zoroastrians believe in eternal life and soul.

Zoroastrianism as a theist religion is mentioned in Quran besides Christianity and Judaism.

Zoroastrians read their holy book "Avesta" to get closer to God.

mumbaiSea.jpg

Zoroastrians believe to Prophet Zoroaster (PBUH) as their Prophet.

Zoroastrian women cover their body and hair.

Zoroastrians pray 5 times in the day for God.

" The orthodox will pray during each of the five divisions of the day (see our page on the Zoroastrian calendar) or gahs (see our page on the Avesta, scriptures) including reciting a special set of prayers before and after bathing.

Zoroastrians hold that the effectiveness of a person's beliefs is demonstrated in that person's deeds. While praying helps to reaffirm beliefs, a life based on good deeds is prayer in action. Our lives are the temples of our souls. This is a natural progression of the ethical creed of good thoughts, words and deeds, where good deeds are held to be most meritorious.

Note: The word namaz or namaaz is used in modern Persian to mean prayer. It is derived from namazh, in turn derived from the Middle Persian namaach, a word with roots in the Avestan nemangh. Interestingly, in Avestan nemase-te means 'reverence to you'. Compare with Hindi namaste from Vedic Sanskrit namas-te meaning 'honouring-you'. The word namaz is now also used by Persian and Indo-Pakistani Muslims to mean prayer. Muslims have also taken the concept of praying five times a day and using a prayer cap or head-covering while praying from Zoroastrianism.

With all due respect. Italy always was a center of humanity. Be it in art, religion, politics and culture. But you? Your culture is as barren as your nature.

You see it as something great that one roman emperor got defeated in persian lands? How comes never a persian emperor made it into our lands? Its true, one roman emperor kneed down defeated in persia. His name was Valerian.

Iraqis aren't having good days especially after Saddam pig ruled Iraq and US invaede Iraq in 2003. But history has it's good and bad parts. Don't forget that you Europeans genocided 100 millions of each other in WW1 and WW2 and has killed millions of each other in medieval era.

This comment shows that you are so dumb. Iran has ruled other peoples for millenniums and Arabs could be in Iran and many other countries for 75 years. Ummayads were less than 75 years in Iran.

In those 75 years iran was destroyed. Why is it, that Iran prays to a prophet that destroyed them? A prophet pushed on it from outside from invaders? How is it that Iran has a regime now that labels great kings like cyrus as villains? You know we saw the persians always as enemies in rome. But we respected their kings.
