BTW - WTF is pure Urdu??? How a language which is mixture of different languages can be pure? And you Indian should first learn the sound of "ph" and "j" instead of pronouncing it as "f" and "z" than talk about Urdu spoken in Pakistan.

That is called standardization.Earlier Tamil(Sangam Literature) was originally written in Tamil Brahmi Script were written in Tamil Brahmi Script.Later on present day Vatteluttu alphabet was devised.Also note that Grantha script was also used to write Tamil until it was abandoned in favor of Vattelutthu.So Script is nothing more than a medium to write down the language.It can be changed according to the convenience.

What you said is the evolution of a script.

What is said is, for example , using English to write in Tamil. Not all sounsd can be accurately captured.
