They can eat any other meat in the world. Beef is a no-no in India.

The one at fault here is the MLA who ate beef. He should not pretend to be innocent, when beef has always been illegal in India for thousands of years. He very well knew that he was going to be beaten, and just did this for cheap publicity stunt to get some media attention.

So India is illegalizing beef... So have both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia illegalized pork?

All most every country has some ethical codes of its own. Even within India, such codes vary from state to state. For example, in some state you can not drink liquor in public places, in some there is no bar. So, if that liberality to have a choice to eat anything they want does not stand well in any practicality, why singling particularly beef out? Contrary to common presumption, people in India does not have Independence to eat anything they want at all, given the ban on beef consumption is under directive principles in the constitution.

A valid point same like Pakistan if Hindu don't like beef or it is forbiden for them put ban only for Hindus.
