What's new

General Zia explaining how Afghan Jihad is safeguarding Pakistan.

As opposed to you who are genuine advocate of Pakistan. Going 100 years back to give Afghanistan a claim on Angoor Adda..
I actually contacted journalists from Waziristan like Safdar Dawar and few others, they are saying same thing as me about the issue of Angoor Ada.

Depends on your perspective. Compared to Punjab it is. Compared to Sindh it is. Compared to Gilgit-Baltistan it is not. Seven of the eleven districts are mountainous unless you think Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abottabad, Kohat are flat table tops? Yeh I guess if your from vale of Peshawar or Bannu plain it's flat.

Did i imply any where that KPK has no mountainous districts?.....and correct your facts, KPK has not 11 districts but 26

You will find such people in Pakistan that are fond of '' ghairatmand '' and loy bar Afghanistan . When you ask what is their ghairatmandi then they have no reply .
Wise men have said "Bhang ba largay na shi khattak ba sarray na shi"

You stated (below) which implies KPK is not largely mountainous whereas if you look at the topographic map pasted in my previous post large part of KPK is in fact mountainous thus meeting the defintion of "largely". You stand corrected.
Who told you that KPK is largely a "mountainous" province?

KPK has not 11 districts but 26
I stand corrected.

Now I leave you guy's to play the favourite sport in this part of the Third World. Measure your d*cks using the "ghairatmand" yardstick. That is a concept that really belongs to primitive times and Pakistani's need to move into the 21st century. Every discussion will devolve into "shame" this and "shame" that.

Only a Western minded person, raised in West, would think that honour, decency, sharam, principles etc are signs of regressive society

Before anyone ever points a finger at Pakistan, the first and very first shot was fired when Afghanistan tried to deny Pakistan's recognition in the U.N. In the decades that followed Afghanistan constantly showed aggressive attitude towards our country.

Pakistani establishment has been playing with fire and eventually the fire will burn you some day.

Oh yeah? Well buddy history tells us that Daoud Khan was very fond of his matchsticks:

I refuse the notion that Pakistan is responsible for the current situation in Afghanistan. Yes we were involved but to put the entire blame on our shoulders given the history of this conflict is pretty damn unacceptable

Of course so and so and some other Afghan sympathizers are saying it so it must be the truth. Angoor Ada has been part of Pakistan since 47.

Pakistani concerns about Afghanistan are real. They should be considered by the Kabul government.

You will find such people in Pakistan that are fond of '' ghairatmand '' and loy bar Afghanistan . When you ask what is their ghairatmandi then they have no reply .
I am afraid of ethnic divisions. It was ethnic problems that led to the division of Pakistan in 71 and we haven't learned a thing from it. No ethnic group within Pakistan has learned to put Pakistan first.

I have been hearing a lot about Afghan refugees in Pakistan from my Pakistani friends here in PDF.
I invite you to watch this short clip as to how strongly General Zia felt that the Afghan jihad and his policies vis-a-vis supporting Afghan militants and fighting the soviets in Afghanistan is detrimental to saving Pakistan.

Of course one of the direct consequence of such policies is that you have Afghan refugees who have flocked into Pakistan. So before you point fingers I welcome you to learn about the history a bit.

Although I welcome the hospitality of Pakistan public but you also need to realize that Pakistani establishment has been playing with fire and eventually the fire will burn you some day.

There are no white pigeons in our part of the world.

excellent -- I'm glad you posted this video -- I have to dig up my notes (I don't have time to re-research this) but I'd like to start a fresh thread comparing this with a Babrak Karmal video.
