I occasionally have the impression that Zakir Naik is actually an ex-Muslim posing as a Muslim. He once referred to the prophet of Islam using the pejorative Hindi name malechha. A former imam of Islam that I once met claimed that many maulanas and muftis who instruct in madrassas are Ex Muslims who purposefully use these hadiths to inform both Muslims and non-Muslims about the true nature of Islam. I think you mightve confused it with the translation of Hindu holy scriptures.

Islam has a set of political, social and economic principles from which a comprehensive system has been developed over time and it is hoped that we can resume the Islamic way of life individually and collectively once again. Islam was successful in uniting different tribes and races over Arabia, Africa and Asia for more than a thousand years. If the Europeans have EU as a political and economic structure and NATO as a military structure, why can't the Muslims have their own Khailafah in the form of a Confederation by strengthening the OIC or ECO. We have the atomic power and the missile and drone capabilities in Iran and Turkey as well as fierce fighters in Afghanistan. If we unite, we can defend ourselves better. We have the natural resources and industrial and agricultural resources as well as technically trained manpower. We also have professional armies which increase our defensive capabilities.

Quran has been translated into other languages since its writing.

Also, your point is invalid because the last 1400 years have passed without Arabs leaving Islam en masse due to the meaning of the Quran even though they completely understand every word in it. Heck, these lands remain the centre of Islam and its religious areas

To the OP and those supporting his position - are you not satisfied with the fascism and destruction unleashed by the Fauj on Pakistan almost since its independence?
The Fauj has never allowed democracy to evolve or civilian institutions to function properly, so making the argument that ‘democracy has failed in Pakistan’ is incorrect.

Only once the Fauj starts to respect civilian authority will democracy have a chance to function and only then can we judge the system on its true merits.
