This is one of the few times there is a friendly government which isn't focused on liberating the Pashtuns or taking a big chunk out of Pakistan. You'll notice co-operation has been enhanced between the two governments.

If you are talking about Mughal Emprier Babur then he was Azeri Turk and his Routes were Oghuz Turkic rather then Kipchak Turkic who are mostly Mongoloid Features among Turks.

Concept of Strategic Depth was to have Pro-Pakistan Afghanistan so Pakistan can focus solely on India.

I think the main source of discontent is the way we tried to gain strategic depth in the country. It's true though, Indians now see it as a buzzword to fling across in every argument.

I don't know the type of Turks he mentioned, but yes Babur was descent of Timur. But my point was that Babur was as much foreigner to Afghanistan as it was to Indian subcontinent.

Babur followed Persian Culture so he wasnt as much foreigner to Afghans but to Soth Asia he was Indeed Foreigner.
