Wakeup please. India is not in such position,
India has no love lost for Afghanistan, they support them only to quarantine Pakistan. How can the Indians forget that there is a whole mountain range in Afghanistan called HINDU KUSH.
Come on dude,,, take a map and draw a route on which this flight is operating ? How come they operate without pakistan permission using its airspace ?Come on dude, can't you understand the meaning of the word BY-PASS, which is written wide and clear in the title ?? LOL
This new air corridor is mainly meant to bypass Pakistan and all it's permissions all together.
.
For one its a trade aircrafts. Why it should be banned? Are u guys even out of logic.
China will never ban Indian civilian flights. If they thing Pakistan can ask China to ban civilian flights is an overestimation of their influence wrt China.
Only an Indian would consider Afghanistan's government to be suitable. Are you up to date with the territory map of Afghanistan? The Afghanistan that is familiar to you Indians is half the size of what it actually is with the Afghan government controlling around half of Afghanistan.
- Afghanistan isn't Syria , they have a functional government.
- Iran is a closer ally to India. Open a text book we have historically supported each other . Our trade with iran is multiple of what Pakistan has.
- Uncle sam has historically supported Pakistan over India , especially in context with Afghanistan , even with decades of influence you couldn't convince a land locked nation to your side.
- Chamber has already been inked , the only reason there is slow development is because indian state owned companies incharge are refusing to open tenders for western manufacturers , since trump administration is more hostile to iran. Meaning they will back away mid deal fearing from santions too. The tenders will be passed after modi meet up with trump .
That is probably true. You are looking at 3-4+ hours more of flight time and an exponentially increased fuel burn. While finding an alternative route to af is less costly
That's what your own media is saying genius.Hing ? Daal ?
You guys are so simple.
How will you know what we transport ?
Oh, really ?? Then why were you complaining lately ?? Just wake up and smell the coffee my friend.
We will talk once it happens. otherwise there is no limit of mouthfires.
Pakistan might have no choice, it might be according to international treatiesPakistan has allowed permission that is why they are operating..All departments must have given clearance...
@sparten remember i told you on another thread...
https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/indi...corridor-to-kabul-using-pak-air-space.499822/
Now we finally come to know as they have started operations
so basically what is india planning to cargo by air? weapons ???

Why notso basically what is india planning to cargo by air? weapons ???
both Pakistan & Afghanistan have the huge chunk of their territory controlled by terrorists. That doesn't mean they don't have a legitimate government.
Map by aljasera
BBC for Pakistan
Chabahar is a bigger package than India-Iranian port , its part of the INST(International north west transportation corridor)
The sheer mass of imports india alone dose overshadowes any profit it can potentially gain from CPC .
You can hate all you want but India is currently the 3 & 5 th largest economy in the world , in ppp & nominal, central asia imports are going to sky rocket in few years. Why do you think china is begging us to join OBOR
If iran really cared about Pakistani interests they wouldn't have sold their port to your enemy or allow India to build a direct rail link to Afghanistan
Saying they wont allow to use common airspace for commercial transportation is a bad joke

So you are saying Pakistan had no government in 2009 ?
"Indian's objection to the B&R is partly a show for domestic politics, partly to pile pressure on China. However, the absence of New Delhi in the B&R has not affected the forum in Beijing, and it will exert even less effect on the progress the initiative will make in the world."

While China would prefer if India joined the initiative, they will not beg India to do so. Typical of an Indian to think that the world revolves around them.
It hasn't been sold. India is aiding Iran in refurbishing it and jointly operating it. Also, Pakistan and China had been invited to contribute to the project before India but did not show interest.
Right... allowing bilateral trade affects Pakistans national security , even if you had a puppet government , they would laugh and ignore .Like I said, if Pakistan can convince Iran that a route to Afghanistan through Iranian airspace is a threat to Pakistan's national security and put enough pressure on them, Iran will comply.
But it clearly did as the maps point it , so are you going to claim your country didn't have a government back then too?i am saying Pakistan doesnot have the huge chunk of their territory controlled by terrorists.
The OBOR initiative involves the BCIM corridor about which talks are still on-going, so India is not out of it yet.India makes up 75% of south Asian economy , OBOR is essentially failed in a Asian context if it fails to bring in the biggest market in asia.
How about turning off your Indian superpower of twisting reality and telling me where in the article it says that the port was sold to India? The port is owned by the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran. The 10 year number given describes the estimated duration of the development project. The deal was signed in 2016
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-36356163
Iran sold the port for 10 year duration and obviously its a join adventure. That's like saying CPC without Pakistan. Also Pakistan is not a part of INST corridor , never has never will be.
Like I've said in previous posts, India could and will use these new routes to transport military equipment to Afghanistan to arm Afghan based terrorists.Right... allowing bilateral trade affects Pakistans national security
Self interest is the only driving mechanism in geo politics .
