I don't know what the criteria for the selection of mods is but as something common with Pakistani's, personal connections and personal opinions (friendships/fawning/politically correct standards etc) would be the prime determinants.
I have seen elmo on this forum too and she was a horrible mod........Not a bad person, but a bad mod. A mod should be as unbiased as he/she can be and she wasn't, not that she banned me or anything but i am an avid observer and watch others closely. I would also like to see a mod who is friendly to all users and not just his/her selected group of friends. @WebMaster please ensure that and i guarantee you that this will reflect well on forum. I have been on forums for quite some time now and let me assure that most of the times when people quit its because of the attitude that is meted out to them by the admins(who mostly get arrogant with time if not in beginning). Not that i am complaining, but just giving a suggestion based on my experience.

Agree with the second half but won't comment on that retired female mod. Because I wasn't even a member when served to forum.

Well its easy to find out where female members are postings and how many of their posts are in topics relate to defence or army. Dont forget that its defence forum where we have option to spam in member clubs and others few sections which dont relate to defence/army
