Female members can be a Mod no doubt about that. But one needs to be unbaised and should have a sane head over their shoulders to be a mod in a website forum which can attract a lots of trolls. However a Mod on a banning spree is also not very good for a forum reputation and health.

@Levina and @Spring Onion are a very favorable choise to be a Mod both for the forum and its members.

Though honestly, all jokes aside, there is no need of a female mod. What advantage does it give in contribution to the forum, and how many female (yes, ironic) members remain 24/7 on the forum, and hold knowledge over military affairs, political affairs and international geo-politics, or bring something new to the content table? Plus, personally I believe being a mod is tiresome, so do you believe the aforementioned members you've said are willing to be mod, and fall in the criteria?

There are many good female posters and I believe we should have a female mod as well.

Well they can put in some limits like no negative ratings, no ban record etc etc......This procedure isn't new to admin either they have been selecting TT's under these preconditions, but this time they should let members decide via DEMOCRAZY . Another great move would be to regulate some mods if mostly they are offline and not able to serve the forum. Appointing few on probation period in order to assess how well they perform will also do well. Somehow people think banning and bullying around is what being a mod is all about......and most importantly most admins act like they are running a stop secret mission where the admin affairs can never go beyond the discretion of admin LOL

Generally defence sites don't attract too many female members, but I think there was at least one female mod, she doesn't come to this site anymore. Among the currently active female members from Pakistan; honestly speaking none is a mod material....you need to have the ability to keep yourself somewhat unbiased to be a mod. @Mugwop was made a TTA, and all I see is the blatant abuse of the 'negative rating' thing everyday, she just keep on marking every post she doesn't like with a red cross, it's awefull (though she didn't mark any of my posts with a neg yet). Uh..well...she is free to mark this one.

Arguing with female mod? recipe for disaster.
When they cant argue they will simply resort to -ve rating. Men dont carry forward grudges but women do. Men can appreciate wit but most females will take it seriously.

First & foremost condition is not to be a troll, that is a automatic disqualification.

I second that , giving -ve rating just bcos you dont agree with some ones view or opinion is a bad case for mod. Moderators have to be unbiased they need allow all the opinions put out the personal attacks or insults. -ve ratings are grossly abused to stifle opinions/views.
