Over the past 2 years there have been increasing vlogs on social media and YouTube to know the other side. One can enter 'Pakistanis view of Indians' or 'Indians views on Pakistan' and dozens of videos appear showing 'mostly' peace activists from both nations gathering information and opinions from the citizens of their respected nations about their neighbouring country. I have watched some these videos and it is instantly noticeable the difference of opinions from citizens of both nations. Majority of the Indian citizens have a hardened attitude towards Pakistanis with many misconceptions about their neighbouring country. Many know nothing about Pakistan or its people. Only a small proportion of Indian people know pretty much everything about Pakistan, it's culture and people. When the question is asked to Pakistanis about Indians the attitude and response of the Pakistani people is more modest, a respectful opinion even if it is a negative comment. Hardly any Pakistani resorts to abusive racist outbursts filled with patriotism. are these cross border projects good or bad for a better understanding of the other? Some examples; Pakistani thoughts and opinions abou India
Indian opinions on Pakistan
