What's new

when Indian and Pakistani citizens are asked 'what are your opinions of your neighbouring country'

And you still speak in language derived from sanskrit. No difference much

So as ours, so what is the point?

First of all, this is not the core moral value. Its religious value. Core value is we both believe in God. How we connect is different, process is different.

This is biggest misunderstanding about hindus that they beleive in multiple gods...No, they believe in various forms of one Aadi Sakti (The One God). All gods are form of that eternal power only.

Statues are NOT God. Hindus do not pray to that statue. Let me give you an example. When you are away from your family for long and then you get a picture of your mother, did not that picture connect you with her more? So the statue is just a symbolic connection to God. Just like people prefer going to mosque for a pray and in one direction, just a symbolic gesture, though God is everywhere.

Moreover, do you know why Hindu Gods are described having weapons and what not? I will tell you something interesting only if you are interested.

Vegetarian is not a requirement for a hindu. Hindu scriptures are filled of otherwise.

Again you did not get that.

You need unity for what? To fight.
Who who are not brave would unite to fight? No.

Lot of Rajpoot warriors use to call upon help to fight invaders, but of no avail. The other kings simply chickened out and bow to them just to avoid the war.

You haven't been influenced by the as much as us, that's for sure.

You didn't just mention God as the core value, you mentioned other things too. Not only that, but my idea of God is far different to yours.

I know they're considered different forms, but in my opinion that's a poor excuse, just like how Christians claim God has 3 forms.

I didn't mention praying to the statue, I referred to statues in general. Anyway, your argument is again another poor excuse imo.

I assume Hindu deities have weapons to kill disbelievers and other people that Hinduism would consider bad, but you can explain if you wish.

Vegetarianism might not be required, but not eating beef is.

Those called upon by the Rajputs to join them, and did not help them, are certainly cowards (unless they planned to become Muslim), but that's not what I was referring to. I was referring to situations where the kingdoms should have helped each other, but hated each other too much to do so.

This post was not created to tarnish anyone's faith it was to discuss relations and misunderstandings between Indians and Pakistanis over social media projects.

To be very honest, let me try to give you a reason behind that attitude.

-- A common Indian is fully convinced that those terror attacks are coming from Pakistan.
-- While a common Pakistani understand that they are inflicted with terrorism which has very little to do with India. They blame US, Afghan and internal sectarian rift.
No, that's the reason.

It's our culture not to hate, we are friendly and open towards all.

True but they act in isolation. They were not brave enough to unite and fight together, on opposite you have a battle hardened invaders looking for a kill.

Be honest, we could have done more, including you (if you are not descendant of invaders race). But then most of the Paks I talk to find those invasions as blessing in disguise for them providing an opportunity to embrace Islam. I reserve my opinion on this thought.
The pakistan that u are considering consisted of east punjab only. Majority of pakistanis in rest of pakistan have different history.

There is no cure to Paranoia.

Indians are paranoid by instinct.

Pakistanis are open minded when it comes to being neighbourly.

Simple facts make life easier
