Over the past 2 years there have been increasing vlogs on social media and YouTube to know the other side. One can enter 'Pakistanis view of Indians' or 'Indians views on Pakistan' and dozens of videos appear showing 'mostly' peace activists from both nations gathering information and opinions from the citizens of their respected nations about their neighbouring country. I have watched some these videos and it is instantly noticeable the difference of opinions from citizens of both nations. Majority of the Indian citizens have a hardened attitude towards Pakistanis with many misconceptions about their neighbouring country. Many know nothing about Pakistan or its people. Only a small proportion of Indian people know pretty much everything about Pakistan, it's culture and people. When the question is asked to Pakistanis about Indians the attitude and response of the Pakistani people is more modest, a respectful opinion even if it is a negative comment. Hardly any Pakistani resorts to abusive racist outbursts filled with patriotism. are these cross border projects good or bad for a better understanding of the other? Some examples; Pakistani thoughts and opinions abou India

To be very honest, let me try to give you a reason behind that attitude.

-- A common Indian is fully convinced that those terror attacks are coming from Pakistan.
-- While a common Pakistani understand that they are inflicted with terrorism which has very little to do with India. They blame US, Afghan and internal sectarian rift.

A common indian views pakistan through their media and u probably know how indian media potrays pakistan plus one more thing that i've noticed is that they consider pakistan not as pakistan but punjabistan and that all pakistanis are hindu converted and they pretend to be some different race or ethnicity. At the end your point that whatever unwanted event happens in india they blindly believe that it's pakistan behind that and all separatist movements are pak backed so their hatred gets more triggered.

.
Hindustanis certainly hate us more than vice versa (currently anyway).

I'll be watching random videos on the internet totally unrelated to this subject, and in the comments some random Hindustani decides to make some comment about Pakistanis. It's annoying that these rats have infected every corner of the internet, there's too many of them.

Pakistanis need to fight fire with fire, and hit them where it hurts. Bring up how Muslims dominated the region for a thousand years, bring up how their language is a bastardised version of ours, bring up how most of them don't even have toilets and worship bloody cows. But only do this if they instigate the argument, never ridicule them just to rile them up.

True to great extent, I just posted the reason and not why they feel so and whether its right on their part to feel so.

However let me add on -

1- Yes, most of Indians do not understand Pakistan beyond Punjab and Sindh.
2- Yes, most of Indians believe you guys as hindu converts more because of point 1. For Punjab and Sindh, they are probably right. Anyways all muslims are convert only so no shame.
3- Most of Indians are not aware of any other separatist movement apart from Kashmir. The maoist are not considered separatist. The movement we hear on PDF are really meant for forums only, insignificant in real life. Naxal and Maoism is real threat created because of exploitation of locals by higher ups.

Pakistanis are considered as just another North Indians with different religion, that's all they know about you guys.

We consider Indians as former slaves that won their independence so we try not to antagonize them.

And also regarding these videos, they are heavily edited to only show positive responses for views.

Sorry dear, your rest of the post doesn't matches your first line.

I do not understand how can you belittle Indians by telling how muslims dominated the region. It is as equal as Kerala Christian boast of british rule.

The good thing is Indians hate you for a reason which can be removed very easily. Rest they dont differ you from themselves, its very easy to be allies helping each other. Just think of tourism industry itself, every Indian would love to visit Pakistan some day.

I consider you my slave as Christians ruled you for 200 years. Got it mugal-e-azam?

Right but the British didn't give Hindustani Christians their language, culture, food, etc and there are only a couple of Hindustani Christians descended from them.

.
Christians ruled who?

You guys are simply bhangis that sweep streets.

Christian ruled India including you lot. Same logic dude same logic.

Just because you cowards converted, now start claiming yourself as rulers just because some Mongol/Afghani or Turk ruled India.

I never knew religion demands language or culture similarity.

Can you see how lastofthe patriot claiming himself ruler without being descendant of Mugals?

Anyways, dont get serious with my replies to him.....
