Bhai I don't much but those drone strikes have gone down a lot after PAF gave statement. Regarding this call. It was made to Pakistan because USA and Afghan govt was having hard time in Afghanistan and wanted a break from spring offensive. They used the same approach which India used the month of Ramzan is the reason for ceasefire. USA now knows it's position in Afghanistan and they have offered ceasefire and asked Pakistan for help to negotiate with taliban. One thing Ghani said is that they will target ISIS so this means that Afghans are getting back to their senses but this could also go in other direction nothing is clear at this point i will give it another 15 days to get the real picture of US intentions.

The cat was out the bag when Taliban and ISIS and TTP were based nearby their bases and they couldn't care less.

Entire Afghan border area with Pakistan is full of terrorists no shits given. Nearly entire Afghanistan is run by warlords no cares given. All they care about is their bases and testing out new drone hardware.

Iran and Pakistan should form a million man proxy army and pincer attack to push them back into Iraq.

its not that simple..
we think pakistan has leverage but forget what if USA says we are leaving and simply put sanctions on pakistan

its not a bad idea to engage with talks, we need to fence, expel refugees, focus on econmy

it seems trump wants afghan problem solved before elections, this is his only card left...
i think he would first want to be veryaggresive and soften up taliban than he would like to reach some sort of agreement, with draw apart from some reisdual special forces, claim victory and with pakistan as fail safe back up plan(things go wrong blame paksitan)

Its not a bad idea only after US stops seeing Pakistan as part of the problem and not as part of the solution. Till than we are back to square 1. Just like this one:

For once some one needs tell US to shut the hell up and shove those demands up where the sun does not shine. Pakistan has been saying for long that military solution is not the only solution and in the end it will be talks and negotiations that will bring a permanent peace. However both US and that pupped regime of Kabul does not wish to adhere to Pakistan's suggestion rather keep on blaming Pakistan.
US foreign policy on Pakistan is heavily influenced by India and this needs to stop, a condition Pakistan must put forward before we entertain anymore US officials.
