ya distance wise you are right..but we cannot place all our eggs in one basket..iran is nearest oil hub and we must ensure every chance to have uninterrupted supply from them.
water transport is cheap and don't cost much so we can import oil form Venezuela and USA, canada etc..
that right .So we need find out more suppliers .Equal import from all countries ,we cant risk our energy security.Equal co-operation with Iran is good for future.
as u can see most iranian members are not angry about this .
there are 2 options for dear pakistan :
1- go on with the plan ,pay for the gas as the deal says and find a way to build the pipeline
2- cancel the deal and pay billions of $$$$ in compensation and penalty .
we have lost a lot of $$$ and we simply dont give a shyt why they want to cancel it . we want our $$$$ back
Business is Business.Money is money nothing cant replace it.
