China and the United States appear to have reached a deal on North Korea.

1. China cuts off oil to North Korea.
2. US agrees to talk to North Korea without preconditions.
3. If North Korea refuses to budge, the only solution is war.
4. China has set up multiple refugee camps along the China-North Korea border.
5. US has assured China that American troops will pull back to the 38th parallel (DMZ line) after a war with North Korea.

This proposal is reasonable and satisfies the concerns of both China and the United States. North Korea's Kim Jong Un has one last chance to denuclearize before the US takes military action.

This is similar to the former situation with Saddam Hussein in Iraq. The US gave Saddam one last chance to let the nuclear weapon inspectors perform their job according to the peace agreement signed between the US and Iraq. Saddam reneged and the US took military action.

Saddam was hanged. North Korea's Kim Jong Un can either choose to denuclearize or they'll probably hang him too.

US ready for talks with North Korea 'without preconditions', Tillerson says | The Guardian (December 12, 2017)

"Tillerson also revealed that the US had been talking to China about what each country would do in the event of a conflict or regime collapse in North Korea, saying that the Trump administration had given Beijing assurances that US troops would pull back to the 38th parallel, which divides North and South Korea, and that the only US concern would be to secure the regime’s nuclear weapons.

Earlier this week it emerged that China is building a network of refugee camps along its 880-mile (1,416km) border with North Korea, in preparation for a potential exodus that could be unleashed by conflict or the collapse of Kim Jong-un’s regime." Yankee assurances are totally worthless:

With more than 500 treaties already broken, the government can do whatever it wants, it seems...

More than 500 treaties have been made between the government and Indian tribes and all were broken, nulllified or amended. Nothing's changed. The mere fact that the Keystone XL oil pipeline has even been considered is a violation of law and shouldn’t have seen blueprints, let alone having this North American monster voted on by the Senate and House of Representatives.(...)

Declassified Docs Prove US Repeatedly Promised Russia No NATO Eastward Expansion
World20:38 12.12.2017(updated 20:51 12.12.2017)

NATO expansion was a key issue as the US, Western European and Soviet leaders negotiated the reunification of Germany.

US and Western European leaders repeatedly promised their Soviet and Russian counterparts in the early 1990s that NATO would not expand into Eastern Europe, according to a series of declassified documents posted by George Washington University’s National Security Archive on Tuesday. (...)

There is a difference. If the US does not honor its 38th parallel pullback promise to China then the PLA will "move" the US military.

No other country, besides China, has ever pushed back the US Army. China did it at great cost during the Korean War (1950-1953).

China's military technology has advanced significantly since the Korean War. China will move the US Army back to the 38th parallel (DMZ line) again if necessary.

Do not trust the Americans, especially the Trump administration. I believe the US will renege on their "promise".
If all oil are cut, the North will launch a nuclear war against the US/Japan/SK!

o_O:omghaha: More broken promises from the U.S.

Ya and after Saddam, came the Iraq Civil War.

It is much more preferable that China does not trust the US (trust much less it would trust the DPRK) and not allow a single rocket fall on the country at all cost save the PDRK directly attacks the US mainland.

Anything short of an unprovoked attack on the US mainland by the North Korean forces/missiles should be a red line for China not to allow the US to drive our region into a fireball.

To understand how many times the US breaks promises, watch the Syrian civil conflict. They have been turning and twisting like there is no tomorrow.

Yes but how long of a war does America intend to wage ?

The North Koreans will fight to the end. The regime will go into hiding if a war broke, therefore necessitating American forces to go find it.

This would be a long war

Oh come on! In any perspectives compared situation NK and Iraq was wrong. North Korea was isolated and closed country, that's make them unpredictable than Saddam.
1. Iraqi invasion by US show no sign of WMD, since their development are obstruct by Israeli strike and ceased from 80's, North Korea has nuclear weapon.
2. Saddam was 'public enemy' by majority Iraqis Shiah, while Fat Kim was 'the King' by most it's people.
3. Iraqi invasion was pretext to get their oil field, in NK invasion you get tons of bigger problem plus nuclear warfare. 4.The strongest nation in Mid-East was Israel, and they US allies, and they just sit back relax let US to do their Iraq problem, in Korean peninsular you got two strong non US vassal nation, both sharing border with NK: Russia and China. They WILL oppose whatever US reckless move to higher tension in this region.
US think to get rid North Korea to get directly China and Russia, North Korea was their stumbling block to get closer to China/Russia border. In case of war in NK, US will have opportunity to get valuable information about China and Russia defenses under disguised of war, Even NK was conquered by US, Pentagon will strengthen their foothold there, they will not back to 38 line as they seek to contain both China and Russia in their border. IMHO both China and Russia made mistake by let NK isolated and closed, they both should 'embraced' NK elites, maintain closer relationship and contact with them, so China and Russia can figure out and perhaps 'influence' their policy. Maybe China can offer them defense arsenal/economic assistance for exchange of nuclear disarmament. But that my personal opinion only.

It would be better if china takes out that nutjob and end this shit forever.

China has no reason to protect Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un has been very uncooperative. He has rebuffed numerous Chinese envoys.

More importantly, Kim Jong Un has tried to embarrass China by conducting a nuclear or missile test during important China-US meetings.

Kim Jong Un is disliked by both China and the United States.

Removing Kim Jong Un and replacing him with a more reasonable North Korean leader appears to be the only solution.

You forgot two more important points, thay USA need to promise to PRC and uphold them

1.Denuclearizaton process must be done by PRC or PRC+USA
2.THAAD system and every non-south Korean weapons+personel that station in south korea must be remove after the war. Give back south Korean the control of their own military

Then again I don't trust americans and japs, PRC need some 'assurance' that USA and her dogs don't break their promise(which is very likely) after the war.

How about this, let PRC station their troops in china Taiwan, south korea and japan during the entire war. After the war is over, PRC will retreat from these areas just as USA and her dogs retreat back south of DMZ. :D If USA refuse, then no deal.:nono:

all this talks are just for one single most important line "2. US agrees to talk to North Korea without preconditions."
if US "agrees" to talk to North korea without preconditions then what will they talk about?Kim jong un's hair cut? it seems like more of your analysis than of any expert.
North korea is not going to de denuclearize,US is pretty well aware of that, that is why they have changed their tones, the primary concern of US is if NoKo arm iran or others with this.
"North Korea's Kim Jong Un has one last chance to denuclearize before the US takes military action.

Saddam reneged and the US took military action" :omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha: looks like you and your pal murika has not still come out of Iraq hangover bro, this is not Iraq,This is north korea,i would love to see US dare to take military action, which city do you think they will trade for destroying north korea?new york?Washington dc?fairly north korea just need to take out new york, backbone of America's economy :dance3:
Have you still not understood?if it was as same as iraq, the murikan drama-cracy soldiers would be there by now.so let me repeat it again out loud.
IT IS NOT IRAQ,IT IS NORTH KOREA,HEADED BY MARSHAL KIM

I think if America attacks which I don't think they ever will. Some major American cities will be dust.
exactly brah, north korea will not care for themselves.they will make sure they take plenty out of their opponent.
murikkans are never going to war with NoKo,they are now trying to save face, remember murikan president Donny boy saying "North korea will never have the ability to strike US"? still gives me hell like laugh :rofl::rofl::rofl:
