Yes and the pictures will go to the Air Force but it can also be used for civilian purposes if needed.

Gokturk-1(0.5m) satellite is developed by Telespazio with French optic payload. Main contactor is under the cooperation with Turkish partners such as Aselsan, Roketsan and Tübitak.

Gokturk-2 (2.5m)is developed by TAI with Korean optic. Many other subsystems are Turkish.

Next step is to produce a spy satellite called IMECE (0.5-0.8m) most critical componants including submeter cameras will be national.
