What 8 years of security? 9/11 was not even a security failure, so it was a false flag attack to get into Afghanistan. One thing governments can rely on is people to believe what they want them to believe. In other words, utterly stupid. 9/11 was a clear case of an inside job. They knew within 24 hours who was involved. They found passports in the rubble. Pentagon had no plane wreckage except a solitary piece of small wreckage which could easily have been planted as evidence by a person. The heat was suppose to weaken the base yet it fell from the top. And the way it fell, it's obvious it's a planned demolition. There are noises and pictures of small bombs going off inside. Yet people believe it anyway because GoA said so. Like I said, if governments can expect one thing, it's for the people to be utterly stupid and not see the obvious.

It's not about india being genius. If india is good at one thing, it's supporting terrorism. It did that in 1971 pretty successfully and is now doing it successfully again.

As far as NATO goes, again, it's not there to fight Taliban.

Main reasons are to stop Chinese influence and interests in the region, and to denuclearize Pakistan.

Supporting insurgents is normally a covert operation. Regardless, just an aside. If it is OK for india to support insurgents there, then it's OK for Pakistan to support similar elements in Kashmir. Agreed?

Covert operations are designed so that one will not get caught in their act. But through various means, such as leaking, or other intelligence agencies working against you, you can get caught. It's never fool-proof.
