The ranking do not make sense especially in reference to KSA as in 1996 KSA was struggling total bankrupty and massive import vs export imbalance. Even a single screw and bolt had to be imported.

That is the only objective way to measure article quality in large studies. If you do not know that, then it is useless to talk to you. If India is doing something else instead of citation for example using a bureaucrat to rank the articles then that is only acceptable in India and not recognized by international community which predominant use citations. You are mistaking quality for some number. And clearly, you do not understand the research field. Do you even know what citation means and how it works? Lets see you counter the points in my previous post logically, if at all you understand this 'citation' business.

Hahaha, H-Index is completely a different thing measuring the productivity of a single scientists and is used mostly for bureaucratic purposes of promoting the scientists in an organization. At least research before writing something. Let me give you an example. Iran produces almost 0.5% of the top 1% cited scientific documents in the world and is way ahead of Turkey and all other Islamic countries despite the fact that Iran is still improving. Even a Canadian publication has said that by 2017, that is five years from now, Iran will overtake Canada in total production.

And? yes Hindex is a measurement of scientific impact of paper/researcher, Iran impact is 106, while Turkey is 176, there is no other way looking at it other than Turkey is better.

Iran and India have both 0.76 citation per document yet Indian H is 256 while Iran is only with 106

Denmark have 2.38 citation per document Israel with 1.66, the H index for Denmark is 373 while Israel is only by 5 points behind with 368

H index shouldn't be used to compare country's overall performance. You can use it to compare maybe specific fields or individual scientists, say H index of Iran in Physics to H index of Israel in Physics and so on.

About the citations per document and in turn the H-index, we must realize that the number of papers published by countries like Iran, China and even India has gone up only recently. So the majority of the papers published are very recent and a result hasn't been cited that many times.

From thousands of Indian publications, my contribution is of 6-7 international papers and several national papers. But since they are recently published, citations are not much.

so u mean that even though iran is joining the ranking of developed countries in scientific research, will soon be a nuke power, doesnt have a fluorishing terrorism and has an extremely stable rising economy. even though they have one of the largest reserves of oil and most european and asian countries like india, china are dependent on them and backing them openly against western powers. still u believe pakistan is representing muslims just because someone said it..loll
