King orders cancer-hit Iranian girls treatment
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has approved the treatment for an Iranian girl suffering from intestinal cancer, reported Saudi Press Agency.
According to a directive by the King, Mariam Ahmed Braouh is to be treated for bowel cancer at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh. The treatment will be sponsored by the kingdom. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also ordered to expedite the processing of entry visas for the girl and her parents to the country.
An official statement by the Saudi Press Agency said that the Kings gesture reflected the humanitarian role of Saudi Arabia as well as the Kings care and concern for Muslims all over the world.
