Yemen is planning to be integrated into the GCC, but only after the security and economy problems are dealt with first. KSA is heavily supporting Yemen in establishing security and improving its economy. Unfortunatly there are groups like this one that seek to destabilize Yemen by creating needless strife.

No doubt Saudi Arabia also has imperial ambitions. KSA was in alliance with US/NATO in Libyan Campaign to overthrow Gaddafi. And heavily involved in plan to overthrow Syrian Govt. KSA is spreading its tentacles in Egypt and Tunisia after fall of Mubarak and Ben Ali. KSA has allied with America on US war against terror policy post 9/11. KSA is always against Iran and its allies.

So not a surprise if KSA grab some territory of its neighboring state.
