Rights activists suggest taking Tipaimukh issue to UN int’l court

So you have no doubt that I am NOT a Pakistani false flagger?

Why not look up the Shanti Bahini?

I got the anwer, it was the insurgent group fighting against influx of Bengalis to Chakma dominated area and later of Bangladesh government signed peace deal with them. Did you blame Israel also for that insurgency or Myanmar.

Anyway what I told you above is 100% true.

. .
What has shanti vahini/fertility of bangladeshi women/illegal bangladeshis got to do with dam.
Guys please stick to topic.
I agree bangladesh should use international arbitration to resolve the issue if GoI is not responding( or has completely different view).
I hope many Indians will agree to such view.

.
Wrong.

And again wrong.

I expected Yes or No for that.
Anyway, there were thousands of Chakmas in India and Bangladesh never want them for 30 years putting strain on India. Pakistanis have habit of blaming India-Israel-America Trio for their every problem. Some even blamed that India-Afghanistan together caused 2010 floods in Pakistan. I think even Bangladesh has such habits particularly when you have Khaleda Zia who don't support any peace talks with India because many Bangladeshis think what I told you above two times.

Okay mate we were just answering some claims by Indian posters like "Bengalis breeding like rabbits" and you dont really think we came up with the discussion of illegal bangladeshis did we? Anyway coming back to the topic, Manmohan Singh has replied to the letter sent by Khaleda Zia, lets just wait and see what glorious writing it has in it.

.

Yes, and that will happen only through talks not hostility as your fellow Bangadeshi are thinking. Anyway, construction on Dam has not started, there are chances of number of talks. There is no water-treaty about barak river. Better doing insanity of going in UN, send some minister to Delhi and initiate talk.

Also, this Dam is being build to control flood and we are doing nothing wrong in that. Should we keep on our area being submerged in Flood because Bangladesh don't want that.

I would be happy if everybody wrote their own views and talk in 'I' and not 'we'.
I dont represent Indian view neither should you represent bangladeshi view.

Project Assam is almost done as Bengalis are unofficially a majority there though officially it is 40-45% with 30-35% muslim n most of them had ancestors in present day Bangladesh...

I don't think it's going to increase anymore. With BSF blowing up every Bangladeshi :sniper:near the border these days, illegal migration days are almost over. Either way , there's way more Hindus than Muslims in Assam who would ensure that no misadventure takes place.

No no.. you are wrong. The bengalis we sent there, actually are genetically modified with high yielding variety. They can reproduce like rabbit and will overwhelm the entire India with Muslim population in near future. No further migration needed.

Dear, the main contentious issue with the Chakmas was there ever since the Pakistan-era.

During the 60s, the Pakistan government wanted to construct a hydroelectric dam, and this required the Chakma tribes to evacuate their lands. They were promised compensation. They never got it. This issue still runs to this very day.

Sorry I couldn't post any sources (not everything is on the Internet), but that's the reality since I have spoken to them and Chittagongians during my visit to Rangamati. Myself am a southerner, Chittagong.

Note, the Chakma and Hmong tribes were some of the wealthiest tribes in the region. And they have been there for eons.

Why was India interested during the Cold War? That's because someone was upset that India did not get the CHT region when the British carved up both India and Pakistan. Congress expected that the CHT region be a part of India, but instead made it to Pakistan.

Bangladesh Army fought a brutal campaign during the CHT insurgency, with international support, and did so with success. Yes, even America supported us during the campaign. So no potential for American/Israeli (lol) conspiracy there.

Now, military presence is gradually going down in the CHT region.

Jeez, really off-topic aren't we guys?

way off topic guys so many post off topic. I found out that the indians, intentionally, try to divert bangladeshis from important topic to a off-topic. What is surprising is some bangladeshis willingly put their feet on the trap.

There are many resentment when Partition happened like Murshiabad came in India, Lahore was given to Pakistan, Gurdaspur given to India etc. etc. Anyway I don't want to know who did what but the why you criticize Sheikh Hasina when she is solving enclave-issues with India or Indian companies doing investment in Bangladesh.

Enclave issues are barely in the solving process!

Actually, most of the CHT folks are Buddhists. They are a nice bunch, I enjoyed being around them. And Rangamati is so beautiful :smitten:
