@ All these revolutionary groups of Hindus have no link with the "Sepoy Mutiny of 1857", all these movement started after the partition of Bengal in 1905. At that time Muslims of Bengal were very close with the British authority. On the other hand Bengalee Hindus for the annulment of Bengal started the movement against the British.

@ Khudiram, Mater da Surju Sen, Pretilotta all movement went against the interest of Bengalee Muslims. It was a tug of games.
1. Once the East India Coy came to Bengal, the Hindus welcomed and whole heartedly collaborrated with them but Muslims fought alone.
2. Once Bengal was partitioned in 1905, the Muslims welcomed them but the Bengalee Hindus revolted in all aspect be politically, culturally and even by terrorism so the Britisher were forced for the annullment of partition. The struggle movement went to such an extend that Britisher were compelled to shift their Capital city from Calcutta to New Delhi. So, one Bengalee writer said,"Chine jugloo, Japan jugloo, Bangalee jugbe kobe". The writer here indicates the Chinese Revolution of Saniatsen of 1909 and the victory of Japan at Port Author in 1901-1903 against Russia.
3. After the First World War once the Allied Forces annexed/broke the territories of Ottaman Empire(Turkey) the Muslims of Indian Sub-Continent started the "Khilafat Movement" but though the Hindus(Congress) initially supported the movement they suddenly withdrew the support.
4. Once the British joined the war infavour of Allied Forces Congress at once resigned from the govt. Soon ML also resigned but British picked up AK Fuzlul Huq as war time Chief Minister of Bengal. So, most of the muslims of Bengal supported the British and joined in the British Army. On the otherhand Neta jee Subash Chandra Bosh resigned from Congress and flade to Afganistan and from their to Germany. Soon he organised the "Azad Hind Fouz" to fight against British. Through out this period the Muslims of Bengal remained true loyal to the British Govt. This is a real trajedy.

End of the day, the bengali hindus still helped to kick the british out.

Indian Bengali Speaking people (I dont want to call them Bengali to insult myself) have smashed the Independent united Bengali nations dream, cause we muslims are untouchable. Where muslims comprise 65% of whole worlds Bengali population. After smashing their own dream by their suicidal effort:

2. Getting bashed from Delhi always.
3. Being always a rich part of ancient history they have the least growth, despite they had their english capital "calcutta"
4. Their language the ornament of a proud Bengali has been replaced by a foreign language "Hindi".
5. Their jobs are mostly taken by the marwaris, non-bengalis in Calcutta.
6. Frustration is clear, when they see Bangladesh - their neighbor independent Bengali's are continuously moving forward.

Nationality- Bangladeshi
Ethnicity- Bangali (bengali isn't used over here)

A person prefers himself to be identified by his/her Nationality
ethnicity comes later on. If someones calls a chakma
as solely as chakma in a foreign land then he'd feel offended.

Truth hurt yeh. History can not be wipe out just because you wish. Hindus's treatment toward poor Muslims in Bengal can not be forgotten. You are lucky that we Bangladeshi Muslim preserving Hindus otherwise if we were likes of your kind then there would not be any Hindus left in Bangladesh.

Since when Razakaars became Bangladeshi? You are wannabe Pakistanis that were not allowed in, isn't it?

It is only the razakaars' good fortune that the Indian army didn't kill them all to the last one. The Mukti pardoned you as well after disposing off a few, though some obviously didn't deserve that, being the traitors they are and always will be.

Exactly, which is why we see so much whining in these threads. If they have so much issue with "Bangla being Sanskritised", why don't Bangldeshis write their own grammar and they can use all the Arabic and Persian words they want. Its not like Hindu Bengalis are forcing them, hey use my word, hey use my music, hey use my poem as your National Anthem. Some serious inferiority complex going on here.

mmm...no offense to anyone here, but what is exactly Bangladesh's position in respect to the Bengal Renaissance? Does this have anything to do with Muslim Bengalis?
