No communication. Dumping food on your trays like they are in the village feeding animals. I took a flight once from Islamabad to skardu and the air steward had not washed his face. He literally woke up and ran to the plane. Is this what you want from pia?

Has PIA considered COMAC C919? I'm not sure if it operates commercially outside of China. Boeing 737max has become a flop... PIA should evaluate Chinese aircraft. COMAC C919 can handle PIA flights to ME and Europe.

Chinese jet engines are not as efficient as their counterparts. Airbus has the best and the most efficient jet engines even better than boeing in comparison. Pakistan has already decided to pursue Airbus mainly due to unreliability of US in terms of supplying critical parts at times of conflict.

I think you mean airplanes in general. Airbus and Boeing don't make the engines.
Yes, the Chinese aircraft are not as fuel efficient BUT if you fly them on short 2-5 hour long flights then that does not matter.
We can buy the Chinese planes and run dirt cheap flights to every major city in Pakistan.

Internationally all the major deals are bundled with some other deal. China does it the best. We cant just go on and buy 50 planes and be happy. 50 planes is a big deal, it will provide jobs to thousands of people in the sellers countries and jobs in turn make the incumbent governments strong. Considering Trump is in election mode, we have to play intelligently. GOP must go for a government to government deal and attach it will items we need for our defence, F-16s for example! Otherwise same could be dealt with Airbus and European defence contractors. Going for China for buying these aircrafts wouldnt bring anything new to us! We have to leverage whatever little we have and avoid putting all the eggs in the same basket!

I have flown more with PIA then you will ever fly in your life and hostesses are not that old mostly middle age and they are normal looking like you and I have in our families, they are not there to entice you with their beauty. I guess you are one of those budtameez passenger who gets attitude, I on the other hand have nothing bad to say about PIA cabin crew they treat you like family and very respectful. Like someone said if you cant say anything nice then please don't say it at all. Oh and you can fly Itehad and Emirates because their fare is cheaper than PIA and then you can tell everyone you fly itehad because PIA service is bad.

Boeing besides 737 is also having huge problems on 787 front, however their biggest seller would be 777 ER, Airbus put all its eggs in A380 and it didnt worked out for them although i love the aircraft and would love to see it in national colors

They do not only have A380 but their best selling aircraft is A320 series along with A330's. The latest addition to their regional gets are the A-220's and long range are the A350's.

U need money for such upgrades.
Secondly PIA is going in big loss but if properly managed it could earn us billions of dollars.

The biggest issue is corruption and political employment.
MQM and PPP are rivals in sindh and the whole world know it but when it come to PIA both are united. The political unions wing of both parties is common in PIA which is PPP and MQM have same labour unions in PIA.
To solve this issue we need to transfer PIA headquarter to Islamabad from Karachi.
Also extra staff should be sent home. We don't want 10 people doing one man job.
