@Farah Sohail - they might or might not resign.

However, if they resign at the RIGHT STAGE the fallout effect of that resignation will shake the foundations of PMLN's Govt.

And at that time whichever type of Pakora (Fritter) will be thinking of saving Nawaz will not be able to do it.

@PakSword @Realistic Change i was going through pages of JIT reply...to hussain nawaz petition, shared here...

JIT although hasnt mentioned the name of the culprit of pic leak here in this reply..but it has said tht JIT had already submitted its reply ..regd tht incident..within 24 hrs before the bench.. So aaj ke reply se bhi pehle JIT apna reply SC bench ko de chuki thee.. Though tht person is not mentioned here in this reply.. But bench was made aware of tht person..earlier.

Iss ke bawajood.. Advocate ne aaj H Nawaz ke lawyer se kaha ke aap JIT ka reply parh kar..us par apna reply de saktay hain ..on wed.. I fail to understand..why didnt advocate dismiss...h nawaz petition..straight away today? Why still asked h nawaz laywer to give arguments..on wed..after going through JIT reply? When JIT already said tht we had given our report to the bench within 24 hrs

Further details;

Al Faysal Investment Bank and Faysal Bank in Pakistan were owned by Dar Al Mal Al Islami headquartered in Bahrain when those transactions were conducted.

Chief Architect of some of those transactions was my ex boss from Citibank and is very very very close relative of Asad Umer!

We are talking about JIT members resigning stating issues of hurdles, non cooperation and threats as well as obstruction of justice.

If they submit their final substantive report say at 50th day - good enough to prove $harif guilty on even one of 13 counts and resign.

That scenario for the bench can't be handled even if Saqib Nisar turns upside down.

@bold if he is close relative of Asad Umar.,then obv he is close relative of Zubair Unar too..then..

What sort of person..is ur ex boss?

Oh ok.. I misunderstood your post..tht u were talking abt NS resign

Will JIT be able to submit substantve report before 60 days? Right now..we were discussing tht even 60 days arent enough...

So will they be able to submit substantive report before 60 days..jis ke baad..agar woh resign bhi kar dein...tu farq na paray? I dont want them to resign before 60 days at any cost..

Also.. I loved the tone of JIT 's reply to H nawaz petition.. SC should have dismissed H nawaz petition.. I am unable to understand why didnt SC dismiss tht petition today..and instead asked lawyer to further submit reply on wednesday? Advocate even said ke aap JIT report par aitraz bhi karsaktay hain

Who is stronger: Establishment or Mafia?

If Establishment wanted this case to be dealt with swiftly and justly, what's stopping it?

.
So you all got to know who was Matulika Mehakma who leaked Babloos pic?

Correct?!?

Now connect the dots and have fun pyaare pakistani bhaiyo & bhehno!

. .
I dont know....Which was tht mehakma?

Sorry I was driving couldn't reply. It's not SECP, FIA, SBP, MI or NAB.

To me the definition of Establishment is; PA, Judiciary and Bureacracy.

And to your point; their own interests stop them from taking action.

Let's establish some base generally accepted and perceived points;

1. There is widespread corruption in above.
2. Political appointees are pivotally placed in Bureacracy and Judiciary.
3. Bureacracy and Judiciary are infiltrated with people with strong political ties (family or personal levels).
4. All of the above are brothers in arms, and have too many skeletons in the same closets.

So if one agrees to above; then it's easy to understand that survival of each one depends on others survival.

Nawaz has so many skeletons in his closet that he is easiest to manage.

I'll lookup my previous post where I mentioned a brief convo with someone in military and what he stated re IK.

Nawaz suits to many; except general public!

question again remains... why reply from AG is sought? few days ago.. SC remarked tht AG is representative of sicillian mafia. why and how will AG give satisfactory reply to SC...on instituitions' tampering of record?

SC has also applied delaying tactic by seeking reply from AG.. SC should have given necessary directions today only..rather than waiting for reply from AG

Unfortunately SC has to follow the law and as per law they shud ask for reply from AG.

I think SC judges should have disqualified,,,or if not tht ..atleast suspended Nawaz sharif and then formed JIT, and asked to proceed with criminal proceedings..just like Justice Khosa and Gulzar have done.. If 3 judges didnt want to disqualify NS..they should have atleast suspended him...

I often wondered..tht Justice Khosa in his verdict...had asked to form an implementation bench..just like 3 judges...to oversee criminal investigations..but he didnt give a time line for tht.. I thought..why didnt he give tht? After going through the points..you mentioned...i can understand now fully..why he didnt give 60 days time line? Maybe because he knew it would be too much to handle.. But still...even after forming an implementation bench to oversee criminal investigations...he had almost suspended Chairman NAB too, and ofcourse disqualified PM too..so tht there would be minimum chances of influence from them.. Verdict of Justice Khosa and Gulzar was surely very wisely and logically written...knowing all the ground realities..

Thats what i have been saying right after reading the detailed verdict, some ppl say they took the easy way out but that wasn't the case, they knows all the ground realities they are senior most judges in SC right now, i just wonder why on earth Justice Ijaz ul hasan didn't agree with justice khosa and justice gulzar, for me its an unsolved mystery.

Mafia has permeated the ranks of establishment long ago so it explains the sulky reluctance of the establishment to take an action against the mafia. Establishment consists of bureaucracy, mililtary, judiciary and then it has its designate puppets / agents in all other fields..like media, politics, business, religious scholarship, academia etc. Bureaucracy is notorious for its corruption despite the fact that they are seldom punished for it. Similarly, the mafia has permeated judiciary and even military too. After all, they are all Pakistanis and none of them came from the red planet...(though I think they came from the Planet Apes ).

It is a popular saying in Pakistan that everyone from the peon to the pm is corrupt but when I talk to people in Pakistan, most of them claim that their income is 100% legit and halal, not only themselves earn hala but all their family memebers, relatives and friends....all are honest. So I really wonder then who is corrupt in Pakistan? since everyone in our families and friends is an angel.

The difference I see between the Pakistanis and western people is of acceptance..

Few examples of establishment's agents, Kamran Khan in the media. Javed Ahmed Ghamdi in religious scholarship, Ch. Shujaat Hussain in politics, Dr Samar Mubarakmand in science and technology etc ...

Eyes are widely shut as no one wants to name the name of culprit.

Why everyone shies away from naming the culprit

ISLAMABAD: Neither the probe of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) into the leaked photo of Hussain Nawaz Sharif from its interrogation room named the ‘culprit’ nor did any leader of the government or the opposition identify him.

Some commentators pointed out that the Supreme Court also did not ask any question in this regard. The official status or rank of the ‘culprit’ was also withheld. Although, everyone shied away from naming him or his organisation, it is widely believed that this man belonged to an intelligence agency that has been assigned the audio and video recording of the question-answer sessions of those appearing before the JIT.

Obviously, had this ‘culprit’ come from a civilian organisation, all and sundry would have conveniently and daringly identified him. All of them showed restraint because the accused hailed from an intelligence agency.

The disclosure of the JIT that the accused was repatriated to his parent department where due action is being taken against him gave a lie to the widespread allegation of the opposition parties that it was the government that had leaked Hussain’s picture to earn public sympathy.

The photo was certainly leaked to ridicule and damage the Sharif family, but the move backfired as instead it created sympathy for it.

The JIT initiated the investigation into the photo leak only after the Sharif family agitated it in the Supreme Court and demanded a commission to probe it. Besides, it also raised a storm over it, painting the JIT as partisan and biased.

The photo taken from the CCTV feed pertained to the first appearance of Hussain before the JIT on May 28. Two weeks later, the JIT has tried to settle it once and for all by telling the apex court that the concerned person has been recognised and sent back to his parent department.

A lot of muck was kicked off by the opposition parties asserting that the government leaked the photo as it had access to the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA), but the official circles kept denying that they had anything to do with it. They also stressed that the FJA has its own security system in place and the venue was out of bound for them.

It is also believed that disciplinary proceedings that would be taken against the “culprit” would not be made public because such actions are not divulged when it comes to the intelligence agencies.

Questions have been raised about the transparency of in-camera proceedings being held by the JIT emphasising that it can’t protect its own affairs.

It is an open question what action the apex court would order against the accused who was found to have publicly released Hussain’s picture. Queries have also been raised whether the photo leak was an independent job of the concerned person.
