Ik decided to take Dawn Leaks case to SC himself yesterday.. but his colleagues advised him otherwise. They are saying ke IK pe establishment ka aadmi honay ka ilzaam lag jaega

I hope bas koi technical reason na le..IK apnay defence main..

Imran requests SC to dismiss plea calling for his disqualification

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday requested the Supreme Court to dismiss Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hanif Abbasi’s constitutional petition seeking Khan’s disqualification.

The PTI leader’s counsel Naeem Bukhari moved a three-page reply over the PML-N leader’s plea.

The application states that Abbasi is trying to show his loyalty to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif whose legality is still to be established by a Joint Investigation Team.

“The petitioner is himself an accused in the ephedrine case and he filed the petition against Imran Khan to counter his petition against Sharif family in the Panamagate case.”

The three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar will take up the petition tomorrow (Wednesday).

Although i hate Hanif Abbasi too..but Imran Khan ko chahye ke jo bhi hai..poori details SC ke saamnay rakhay...aur NS ki tarah bahanay baazi na karay SC main.. Proper money trail of eveything should be produced in SC..na ke is tarah ki baatein..ke i am being politically victimised etc etc.. He should not behave like NS in SC...

If he behaves like this the court proceeding will damage his stature and like u said entire proofs and evidence shud be given to SC, if not then IK shud be disqualified for atleast 10 years straight away.

So Pulitzer Prize winning report is "crap" according to Defacto PM of Pakistan.

And SCP wasted hundreds of days reviewing the crap case.

Salute to Maryam's intelligence - worrisome fact is; she is most probably next PM of Pak.

I seriously doubt her educational credential's now, i wont be surprised if one day all her degree's found to be fake.

As per Dr. Shahid Masood in his talk show on News One, The SC of Pakistan has constituted a new bench comprising of the three Judges who said a JIT is to be formed to investigate further. It is said Justice Aijaz Afzal will head the three member bench. I cannot find this news anywhere so far so cannot comment further.

I believe Justice Aijaz Afzal is the judge who has been referred to as 'The Advocate' in this thread?

I don't think it's about technicality.. He provided these details multiple times in courts and EC. They start the case against him and then drag it by different delaying tactics.. This happened twice last year.. EC rejected a similar petition from Daniyal Aziz and Talal Chaudhry last year..

This time as well, they want to run it in parallel that's why IK wants to get it rejected by SC... I mean how may times a person will provide all the details?

Listen to Salman Akram Raja and as per him, the response of IK is quite comprehensive and it is extremely difficult to find any loopholes..

Khair, once again they want to run a case against IK in parallel, I think IK should provide the same response again to keep their mouths shut..
