U dont measure islamic law by what its rejects directly, u measure it by what it accepts, islam gave its own system of democracy which is the presidential system, hence it rejects parlimentry system..

Only Supreme Court has this power, that too if the "trial" occurs, or in the inquisitorial proceeding it becomes crystal clear that PM has broken the law, the punishment of which results in disqualification. Even EC can't disqualify directly, it can only de-notify a member of assembly. Ye alag baat hai ke PM ki post automatically khatam hojaegi if a person doesn't remain a member.

IKs demand was to accept this offer of "transparent inquiry on 2013 elections" only on one condition, if PM resigns and Gen RS helps him in sending this message across, which for obvious reason, RS denied.

I get that COAS can't demand PM to step down but demand for stepping down was made all along by IK, it wasn't a secret and made in public way before COAS got involved.

Bear in mind that it was PMLN Government who had sent COAS to negotiate and IK put the same demands in front of him that he had done in public.

Sending a message or recommendation of resignation is one thing, making a demand is another.

And Gen RS made it clear in his meeting, that PM will talk about anything except resignation.. And then IK said no negotiations then, although chief said he will ensure transparency (although this is not his responsibility as well) but he did some action like ensuring registration of FIR etc..

What's done is done, nothing unconstitutional happened. Now SC sword is hanging over the corrupt tola and this may not have been the situation had the elections been null and void and held fresh back then. I think this is a much better situation for Pakistan.

True. It is our belief that whatever happens, happens for the best.
All we need now is a committed plan to tackle the feudal system and ensure people go to the polls knowing just how important their every single vote is.

Agreed. Feudal system is the real curse and cause of the mess we are in. Past establishments' supported it but that support seems to have faded.

Lots to be done and happen before elections. Still in an early phase of a soft revolution.

I agree. It took the Pakistani establishment 70 years to understand that.
Only 2 things can come out of this

1) Revolution of the common and it wont be pretty.
2) Electoral revolution and that with the uneducated masses is a long shot indeed.

Inshallah whatever happens Pakistan will reach its potential as destined and foretold.

Agreed.
If this continues, in the end the people will become so depressed of this system they will put their affairs in the hands of a common unknown man(a pious Muslim).

Times like these I miss Mr. Gul even more.
