Hahaha ... i think parathas are gulped down rather than eaten during firefights ... only highly battle hardened guys seem to enjoy them during firefights

The water can be cleared up if they had a filtration system there are many bottle sized filtration system for clearing up sediments

One Improvement I do see is they should include some qood quality protein bars for daily supply of protein nutritional need of Solider

These are dry items , keep the muscles buildup and are healthy.

The Paratha is Grease and lowers performance of Solider it makes soldiers sluggish and sleepy , as its heavy on stomach cooked in oil

Protine Bars should be considered

This gives you same level of Protein as a Stake does

Instead of Chai bring in Nutritional Shakes 1 bottle per day, Chai is a small pack you can include that in anyways for evening tea

And 2 Gnanola Bar (For your carbohydrate need for day)

Apart from that Canned Tuna or Canned salan is ok but do not eat it with Paratha

Worried about unsafe drinking water? If you’re traveling in remote rural areas and bottled water is not readily available, having a portable water purifier is a good idea. Water bottles with all-in-one filtration system and handheld UV water purifiers keep out harmful chemical, bacterial, and viral contaminants.

Where did you find these MREs and how long are their expiry periods (like years or just months)?

The generation that lived through the Great Depression stockpiled MREs all their lives. Many Americans still do. This is something vital to have around for emergencies or flooding/incidents in remote areas.

They know everything but they have to improvise things when in the field.
