I agree with you to some extent, 47 years of independence is a long time to develop the country but we have not been successful. The behavior of BD people you are talking about is present in all of Indian subcontinent, it's not exclusive to BD, even India did not become developed and wealthy in their 71 years of independence.

I can only hope we will improve ourselves.

Below is a link to read how insincere we are from today's newspaper. Similar things are prevalent all over the country in every level of the administration. It shows how dishonest and insincere we are. How a country can develop with this kind of mindset? I praise the cricketer/MP Mashrafe to talk against this typical BD culture. I do not think this culture is found in India. Pakistan may be similar to us.

To some extent its true. But u need to keep in mind that we started our journey from nothing. The whole country was destroyed by the Pak military force and we had to build everything from the scratch.

Then add the fact that West Pakistan regime didn't allow us to grow any industry between 47-71. Hence, the whole country was dependent on simple agricultural business.

Then add the fact that in between we have had the misfortune of having corrupt political parties like BNP at the helm of the things whose primary moto was looting and keeping BD a bottomless basket.

As a matter of fact it's a miracle that BD has reached the position where it is now considerimg its geographic location and difficulties it had to face throughout its journey. Today we earn over 45 billion dollar from export alone which is expected to increase exponentially in the coming years.

Since we have already got rid of looters like khaleda and tariqe as well as hanged all the murderer jamati rajakars, from now on we will move at a faster rate with the strong leadership of hasina led AL.

We are not client state of any country that we need other people to defend us. We started our journey as bottomless basket as termed by US politicians but we are now on track to become one of the top 25 economy in a decade and top 20 economy by 2050. We know our potential and we are working on it.

Regarding leading global alliance for sure on Rohingya issue we are doing it. We will continue to do it until justice is provided to Rohingyas one way or another. We are not lawless, self centered country like yours where there are no place of human rights, values and ethics.

But does this means we should forget our ethics and keep silence regarding this incident like the way Pakistanis here do as far as persecution of ughair Muslims r concerned ? Of course not.

Same with India. Many posters here r against the persecution of Indian Muslims and actively post negative things about rss thugs and rightly so. That's why few Indian idiots try to troll in BD section.

Thank you, this is exactly my point. What trouble these foreign trolls the most is the confident and independent tone of Bangladeshi posters here. They always put Bangladesh at the bottom, a place for contempt, or better, pity. Bangladeshis talking on equal terms is what trouble them most. They do not understand, Bangladesh may not be a great military or economic power, but as a nation we are not cowards. We would not hesitate calling a spade a spade. And this is what trouble them most. They want Bangladeshi to act like a poodle here for their country.

Some Chinese posters are trolling here because we did not fear or shy away criticizing it's Rohingya policy or it's treatment of Uighur Muslims.

Some Indian posters are trolling here, because they are sanghi, do not like Muslims in general. They think, Bangladesh is just another trouble like Pakistan.

Some Pakistanis are trolling here, because they are badly humiliated by the facts that, Bangladesh now overtaken them in some parameter, which they thought was never possible. Moreover 1971 issue is a big source of animosity. And the fact that Sheikh Hasina govt. do not like Pakistan and vice versa.

Why an Indonesian poster is trolling here is a puzzle to me. She herself frequented this Bangladesh sub section in her own interest in a first place. None of us invited her. Perhaps she taken some offence at some point of interaction here. And gradually cemented that hurt feeling with escalations. But the truth is, all the Bangladeshi people including in this forum has nothing other than feeling of appreciation and brotherhood towards Indonesia. And all other Indonesian posters here are very friendly towards us.
