Pakistan needs extensive industrialization to overcome this economic mess which its facing, unfortunately they are clueless about the causes of this mess and leaderless to guide it in right direction.

Your observation regarding devaluation of PKR and Inflation which is in high double digits, will surely drag the real GDP by more than 20 percent.

Its high time that China start investing aggressively in CPEC which is Pakistan's only hope.

Pakistanis couldn't give a damn for India.

Wait till Pakistan's population becomes 290 or 300 million.

The large population will cause a large consumer market.

The large human resources will make up whatever Pakistan is deficient in.

I think Pakistani economy is bigger than that of TN (in nominal terms) after the last rebasing. The drastic PKR depreciation may change the nominal GDP estimation next year, but we have to wait for official figures to be published. Until then, only MH can be categorically said to have a greater GDP than that of Pakistan.
